Purpose:shooting is the only way to score in basketball.A free throw at the end of the basketball game even affected the outcome of the game. Therefore, improving the accuracy of shooting has become the goal pursued by basketball players and coaches. In this study, the combination of proprioception training and routine shooting training was applied to the shooting training of amateur basketball players, aiming to observe whether the combination of proprioception training and routine shooting training could improve the shooting ability of players more effectively,so as to provide guidance and reference for the future proprioception and shooting training.Methods:30 amateur male basketball players from Beijing Sport University were selected and randomly divided into routine training group and routine plus proprioception training group.Subjects in both groups were trained with the intervention three times a week(24 times in total)for eight weeks. The free throw accuracy, jump shot accuracy, proprioceptive ability(elbow joint position sense,Y-balance)and other indexes before and after the experiment were tested. Finally, statistical analysis was conducted to test the training effect.Results:(1)The accuracy of free throw shooting in the experimental group was significantly different before and after the experiment(P<0.01).The accuracy of free throw shooting increased from 46.000±18.266%to 57.333±21.720%.(2)The accuracy of jump shot in the experimental group improved slightly before and after the experiment, from 44.000±12.097%to 50.444±13.908%.However,there was no significant difference in the accuracy of jump shot in the experimental group before and after the experiment(P BBB 0 0.05).(3)The lower extremities Y-balance test scores of the experimental group were significantly different before and after the experiment(P<0.01).The comprehensive score of the left leg increased from 87.193±7.823 to 100.267±6.737,and the comprehensive score of the right leg increased from 89.078±5.818 to 98.610±7.879.The results of upper limb Y-balance test in the experimental group were significantly different before and after the experiment(P<0.05).The comprehensive scores of upper limb shooting side increased from 89.795±10.263 points to 101.010±10.703 points.(4)There was no significant improvement in elbow position sense test scores between the experimental group and control group before and after the experiment(P BBB 0 0.05).Conclusion:(1)The combination of proprioception training and routine shooting training can improve the free throw performance of amateur basketball players in training.(2)The combination of proprioception training and routine shooting training can improve the scores of amateur basketball players in upper and lower limbs Y-balance test.(3)The effect of regular and proprioceptive shooting training on elbow position perception of amateur basketball players needs to be further studied.(4)The influence of 8 weeks of routine and proprioceptive shooting training on the performance of amateur basketball players’ jump shot in a sudden stop needs to be further studied. Finally,it is suggested that amateur men’s basketball players and coaches should combine proprioception training with routine shooting training when training free throw.
