| With the increasing influence of media technology and media information,audiences use media wisely and critically understand and evaluate media content have become the basic qualities of the information age.This research is based on the new challenges that online media brings to students and the mechanism of personal brain science,and is dedicated to evaluating the media literacy of primary school students.First of all,using literature research methods,starting from the concept of popular cultural literacy,based on the critical theory of popular culture,critical pedagogy,and critical media literacy,combing domestic and foreign media literacy evaluation frameworks.The core element of media literacy.Secondly,on the basis of comprehensive analysis of the media literacy evaluation methods of primary and secondary schools in developed countries,my country’s media literacy policy texts and compulsory education curriculum standards,a comprehensive analysis of the media literacy evaluation of primary and secondary school students,including 3 level indicators and 9 Second-level indicators.System,developed a tool for "media literacy assessment of upper grades of elementary school".Then,use the "media literacy assessment of the upper grades of elementary school" tool to make small-scale predictions.Based on the classic measurement theory and item response theory,using the software STATA16.0 and SPSS24.0,the quality of the preexamination paper is analyzed from the aspects of difficulty,discrimination,reliability and validity.The results show that the pre-examination paper is of medium difficulty,and nearly 90% of the questions have a high degree of discrimination,and have a high degree of reliability and validity.According to the results of statistical analysis,the preexamination paper has been improved.Finally,a formal test is carried out.According to the data analysis of the official test results,the research conclusions are drawn.We found that the overall media literacy of elementary school students is at a qualified level and has not yet reached an intermediate level.In terms of regions,urban schools scored the highest,followed by county schools and township schools,while rural schools scored the lowest.The results show that there are significant differences in the media literacy of students in different regions.As far as the academic performance of different subjects is concerned,the scores of the media literacy test increase with the improvement of students’ test scores in each subject.Basically satisfy the principle of "the better the academic performance,the higher the media literacy".In terms of gender and grade,there was no significant difference in the media literacy level of primary school students. |
