The development of mathematics has had a significant impact on the process of human society.Mathematical methods and ideologies have provided vital assistance for people to understand and analyze problems.Therefore,it is of geat impartance to help students cultivate mathematical application ability and innovation ability,which has become one of the significant aims of school mathematical education.One of the effective means is to infiltrate the ideology of mathematical models and cultivate model awareness.The "High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2021 Edition)" puts forward clear requirements for mathematical modeling.Mathematical modeling activities allows students to experience the process of exploration as mathematicians,so that students realize that mathematics comes from reality.The concepts,formulas,theorems,etc.are all extracted from real problems,abstracted into brief and rigorous mathematical language,which can help students feel the extensiveness and advantages of mathematics application.The individual attribute of creativity has been gradually recognized by the public,while its collective attribute has not been fully valued.Collective creativity consists of creative output,mastery and intrinsic motivation.Collective creativity is the quality and ability of a group of learners in a specific field,starting from a specific purpose,and interacting through a series of behaviors to obtain original and practical products,which is manifested in the following four behaviors: joining forces,expanding possibilities,divergent thinking,and rearranging things.Research shows that the process of collective inquiry can not only make students experience the process of knowledge exploration and generation,realize the "recreation" of mathematical knowledge,and help to improve students’ team awareness and communication skills.The collective creativity in the process of mathematical modelling of senior high school students is studied in this paper.Some targeted teaching suggestions are put forward.This research can help students strengthen their creativity and satisfy the need of the age,which is a worthwhile subject.Nowadays,the teaching of mathematical modeling and the infiltration of model ideology have gradually attract the attention of researchers and teachers of primary and secondary schools,but their research focus are generally on the mathematical modelling process.There are few researches on the psychological activities of students in this process.Therefore,on the basis of literature research,a model of collective creativity is proposed.Through the research on the current situation of mathematical modeling activities,the experimental content,objects,etc.were determined,and controlled experiments were carried out.This paper mainly adopts the following research methods: literature research,experimental research,case study and questionnaire survey.Combined with literature analysis,the identified series of collective creative behaviors were summarized and refined,and four representative collective creative behaviors were obtained,which satisfied the theoretical framework of collective creative behaviors,indicating that mathematical modeling activities is an effective way to cultivate collective creativity for senior high school students.In addition,the role of collective creativity in students’ mathematics learning,psychological quality,interpersonal relationship,etc.was studied.It shows that collective creativity has some positive effects for senior high school students.Some targeted teaching suggestions are put forward accordingly: leading students to think with a slightly advanced activity or prompt,engaging in activities that challenge students’ creative potential,adjusting students’ attention to divergent thinking,and providing opportunities to put things together again,which hope to provide teachers with some teaching suggestions in the future and help contribute to the cultivation of students’ creative quality.
