With the sustainable development of the society in the new century,our country attaches great importance to the cultivation and development of innovative talents.Language expression ability is one of the necessary abilities for students’ all-round development,and physical language expression ability is an important embodiment of students’ practical ability.If we want to improve the senior high schoolstudents’ abilityofphysicallanguageexpression,weshouldgrasp thecurrentsituationofsenior highschoolstudents’ abilityofphysicallanguageexpression.First of all,the questionnaire of using attitude of physical language,the questionnaire of classroom observation and the test paper of writing ability of physical language are designed to investigate students’ using attitude of physical language,speaking ability and writing ability.The results showed that the questionnaire had good reliability and validity,the observational scale had goodreliability,andthedifficultydistributionofthetestpaperwasreasonable.Subsequently,the application of the above tools combined with the characteristics of physics curriculum in Yanji City,a senior high school students to carry out a survey of language skills.The present situation of students’ physical language expression ability is analyzed,and the existing problems are found as follows:(1)In terms of science,the language lacks standardization,the oral expression lacks conciseness,and the written expression is too concise and scientific,and it is easy to ignore the true meaning of diagrams and symbols;(2)In terms of intuitiveness,the scene created by the original problem is ignored,and the idea of combining theory with practice is weak;(3)In terms of diversity,it is difficult to transform the language of words,diagrams and symbols into each other,and theexpressionmethod is single,andtheadvantages ofcombining multiplephysical languagesare not fully understood.(4)In terms of logic,logical relational words are used in a chaotic manner,the expression is not fluent,and the obliteration and modification are relatively frequent.Analysis of the causes of the above problems includes two aspects.On the one hand,there are student factors:(1)psychological barriers;(2)bad language habits;(3)poor basic knowledge;(4)poor physical thinking.On the other hand is the teacher factor:(1)the teacher raises the student physical language expression abilityconsciousnesstobeweak.(2)theclassroomtimeistight,raisestheopportunitytobefew.Finally,the paper puts forward some strategies to cultivate students’ ability of physical language expression,including:(1)creating a relaxed atmosphere for students to express easily;(2)providing a platform for students to express themselves by using different types of classes;(3)giving full play to the demonstration role of regulating physical language.Taking two science classes of a senior high school in Yanji City as the experimentalsubjects,theteaching practicefortwo months was carried out according to the teaching strategies proposed.The proposed strategies were tested by questionnaires(pre-test and post-test)and classroom recordings.The results of statistical analysis showed that the differences of language expression ability between the experimental class and the control class were significant(P< 0.01).
