Language is an important tool for us to transmit information and communicate emotions. Using language correctly and maintaining standardization, scientific nature and authority of Chinese language is the duty of every citizen in the country. In the process of carrying out " National Common Language Law", schools are the basic position of popularizing Putonghua, so primary and secondary schools’basic role in popularizing Mandarin and writing Chinese characters correctly is irreplaceable.Under the guidance of social Linguistics, The paper conducts a thorough investigation about high school students’language in the way of doing some questionnaires and samplings, in order to reflect performance of high school students’ language using truely and accurately thus pomblems in language using of high school’s education can be further reflected. I hope this paper can bring some enlightenment to Chinese language education in schools and can make the whole society pay more attention to language learning to promote the ability of Chinese language using in our whole nation.The paper is divided into five partsThe first chapter, introduction. This part is mainly about describing the contents of background, basic, significance, status, ideas, methods and survey methods of the research and a description of the sampling process.Chapter Ⅱ, high school students’language survey and analysis. This part is mainly about Statistical Analysis of four sections:family language using, social language using, language mastering and Chinese characters’application.Chapter Ⅲ, high school students’language attitudes survey and analysis. It’s mainly about the statistical analysis of high school students" language attitudes towards Mandarin, Yunnan dialect and ethnic language, according to gender, ethnicity, and urban and rural areas.The fourth chapter, investigation and analysis of high school students language using ability. This section is mainly from questionnaires and samplings to analyze high school students’ language using ability.The fifth chapter, conclusion. This part is based on the data of the above analysis to draw conclusions.
