Research On College Archives Service Based On User Needs

With the development of society and the popularization of higher education,as an important part of colleges and universities,the number of archives in colleges and universities is increasing day by day,and the number of users of archives is also increasing continuously,which brings opportunities and challenges to the development of college archives.On the one hand,the increase of file users is conducive to the promotion of popular science file information in university archives;on the other hand,how to meet the challenges and actively meet the needs of file users is worthy of further exploration by university archives.Based on the needs of users,this paper explores the problems existing in the development of Kunming university archives in recent years,and puts forward universal solutions combining with the successful experience of other university archives in archives service.First of all,this paper expounds the needs of file users and related concepts of university file service;Secondly,through investigation,the author found that there are still some problems in the archives service of Kunming universities,such as the low basic archives literacy of archives users,unreasonable composition of archives personnel,low professional level and insufficient development of archives resources.Then,the author draws lessons from the successful cases of archives service in domestic university archives,such as the diversity of archives service forms in Nanjing University,the upgrading of archives remote service in Sichuan University,the digital construction of archives in Shanghai Jiaotong University and the archives publicity of Nanjing Institute of Technology.
