Research On Influencing Factors Of Archival Culture Construction In Colleges And Universities

As an integral part of my country’s archives system,the archives department of colleges and universities attach great importance to the construction of archives culture,and have carried out active explorations on it.Although the archives department of colleges and universities have its unique advantages in the construction of archives culture,due to the complexity of the construction of archives culture and the inertia of the long-term work of the archives department of colleges and universities,the progress of the implementation of archives culture is not satisfactory.Therefore,the analysis of the factors affecting the construction of archives culture in my country’s colleges and universities will help to provide theoretical reference and guidance for their practical work.On the basis of investigating the theoretical research status of cultural construction in the archives department of colleges and universities,this paper uses website surveys and other methods to understand the actual development status of archives cultural construction in colleges and universities;and then collect data through field surveys and semi-structured interviews with college archivists.And data,through the use of the three steps of open coding,axial coding and selective coding in the grounded theory method to analyze and process the obtained data,and finally build a model of the factors affecting the construction of university archives culture from four dimensions,respectively is the main body dimension,campus dimensions,social environment dimensions and effect dimensions,a model of influencing factors in the construction of archives culture in colleges and universities is constructed.In the constructed model of influencing factors for the construction of archives culture in colleges and universities,the main dimensions include five factors: the organizational structure of archives in colleges and universities,the management of archives,the allocation of talents,inter-library cooperation and archives infrastructure.Campus dimension includes four factors: campus culture,leadership effectiveness,school professional characteristics and alumni strength.The social environment dimension includes three factors: archives policies and regulations,social and economic development and cultural environment,social cognition and major events.The effect dimension includes four factors: archives culture position,archives project management,archives transformation and upgrading,and user experience.The above factors have different influences on the construction of archives culture in colleges and universities.On this basis,the paper puts forward corresponding solutions and suggestions to deal with the difficulties and dilemmas that may be encountered in the construction of university archive culture.For example,according to the main factors,university archives can adjust the organizational structure,rationally allocate the talent team,and strengthen the cooperation between libraries and departments.This paper not only investigates the current situation of archive culture construction in colleges and universities through relevant domestic and foreign literature,but also based on field investigations and interviews of archives of many colleges and universities in Nanjing area.After analysis and summary,the model of influencing factors of archives culture construction in colleges and universities is obtained,which is more universal.Moreover,through the use of grounded theoretical methods to summarize and construct the model of influencing factors in the construction of archives culture in colleges and universities,the method is more rigorous and scientific,and the conclusions obtained have relatively more reference value for the construction of archives culture in colleges and universities.
