Research On The Difficulties And Countermeasures Of The Construction Of Local Government Statistical Credibility

Since the 18th National Congress,China has paid more and more attention to statistical work,and with the promotion of China’s international influence,China’s role in the international arena has become more and more important,and the authenticity and credibility of China’s statistical work have become more important.With the deepening of networking and informationization,people pay more and more attention to the authenticity and credibility of national statistics in addition to their work and life.In recent years,statistical data fraud and other news that undermine the credibility of government statistics is not uncommon,local governments to establish and maintain statistical credibility is also more and more difficult.Since the development of the media led to the construction of local government statistical credibility by the influence of public opinion,so to explore the local government statistical credibility construction dilemma,and has a series of good countermeasures is extremely important.This research takes W city government as the research object.First,it analyzes and compares the research status at home and abroad,and briefly introduces the research method,content and technical route of this article.Secondly,define the related concepts used in the thesis,such as the credibility of government statistics.And briefly elaborated the theory of public goods,stakeholder theory and information asymmetry theory.The main example is to carry out research around the statistical department of W city.The current situation of the credibility of the statistical department of the local government is investigated through the method of questionnaires to understand the current status of the statistical credibility of the government of W city and the difficulties it faces.Then combined theory and practice,I found out the reasons why the local government of W city encountered obstacles when building credibility in statistics.Based on this,starting from the status quo of City W,the local government’s statistical credibility building strategy is given.Finally,I summarize the full text,highlighting some shortcomings and hopes of this article.In general,when studying the issue of statistical credibility,this article uses previous studies as the main reference and theoretical basis.According to the current situation of W urban area,the current government statistics encountered in the process of building credibility of local government statistics departments The lack of integrity,the “mismatch” between the supply and demand of open data,the public and the media subjectively question the authenticity of the data,and the poor traceability of statistical data.We have thoroughly explored the reasons for the lack of credibility,including the low efficiency of government statistical data and statistical data.The product does not match the needs of the people,the public and the media’s ability to interpret data is weak,and the basic construction of statistics is weak.Then based on the knowledge learned,further deepening reforms are proposed to strengthen the construction of the statistical legal system,transform to service-based statistics,and do a good job in statistical propaganda.Establish an interpretation mechanism and strengthen the construction of basic statistics,so that relevant departments of local governments can improve their credibility.
