Research On Group Work Helping To Improve The Professional Ability Of Community Workers

Community is the pioneer to connect the government and the people.Community workers are the executors of policies.Keeping the original intention of being in power for the people and implementing the construction of community talent team are the needs of innovating social governance and secure against the epidemic.Only by continuously improving the professional ability level of community workers and expanding the practice path of community workers’ professional ability improvement can we ensure the healthy operation of community governance and promote the harmonious and stable development of society.This study is based on the applicability of "embedded theory" to the development of social work professions in Chinese communities,and the general applicability of "iceberg theory" to the improvement of individual professional ability.The research methods mainly use questionnaire method,literature research method and interview method.The professional ability of community workers in D city is divided into four dimensions: basic professional quality,political system service ability,social work professional ability,and professional psychological quality,and 20 related factors,and analyzes the problems and causes of insufficient professional ability in D city.Put forward the necessity of using group work to help improve the professional ability of community workers in D city.Through the needs assessment of J community workers,carry out the design and implementation of group scheme,evaluate the process and results,draw conclusions and put forward suggestions.Through the research on the involvement of group work in the improvement of community workers’ professional ability,the following three conclusions are drawn: the group work method can effectively improve the professional ability of community workers;The paradigm of group work to improve the professional ability of community workers is worth popularizing;Social work can promote the modernization of social governance ability.And put forward corresponding suggestions: improve the guarantee of salary treatment;Innovating and optimizing management system;Building and strengthening professional teams;Adjust job career.Although there are various subjective and objective factors leading to the lack of research,this paper can also make a little supplement for the practical research of social work at the community level and extend the existing research fields.
