Research On The Intervention Of Group Work In Rural Institutional Elderly Care Services Under The Background Of Rural Revitalization Strategy

The party and the state attach great importance to the issue of rural elderly care.In 2018,the No.1 central document pointed out that it is necessary to build a multi-level rural elderly care security system and innovate a diversified care service model.In the 2018 strategic plan for Rural Revitalization(2018-2022),the basic requirements for rural elderly care services were defined,and it was emphasized that rural areas should combine the Rural Revitalization and development model,effectively meet the needs of the elderly and change the traditional elderly care service model.The Rural Revitalization Strategy takes "industrial prosperity,ecological livability,rural civilization,effective governance and rich life" as the general requirements,makes phased plans for the implementation of the Rural Revitalization Strategy,and clearly puts forward the need to "improve the rural elderly care service capacity" to adapt to the situation of the aging of the rural population.The Rural Revitalization Strategy and the development of rural elderly care services are mutually reinforcing and inseparable.Rural elderly care institutions should seize the opportunities brought by the Rural Revitalization Strategy,face the new era,and improve the level of elderly care services to achieve considerable development.This study takes the elderly care institutions in village x of Chifeng City as an example,expecting to improve the elderly care service capacity of institutions through social work intervention activities,provide better services to rural areas,and help solve the elderly care problems in rural areas under the background of Rural Revitalization.In the research,this paper followed the method of combining theoretical research and field research,such as literature,questionnaire,participatory observation,etc.,to investigate and analyze the service of the elderly care institutions in village X.Through the intervention of social work specialty,this study found that the rural institutional elderly care service represented by village x is more traditional and conservative in institutional management and service,with single service content,low service team quality and low service effect.In the process of investigation,the needs of the institutional elderly care service in village x were identified,including the needs of service quality optimization,service content diversification and service level specialization.This research aims at the above-mentioned main problems and needs to carry out group work.Through the intervention of group work,it empowers the rural institutional elderly care service,which has improved the quality and level of institutional elderly care service in village x to a certain extent.This paper holds that to realize the long-term improvement of rural institutional elderly care services,elderly care institutions need to update their service concepts,optimize service supply,and also need the government to issue relevant policies to vigorously develop social workers and promote the normalization of social work in rural elderly care institutions,which is not only in line with the requirements of the times for rural revitalization,but also the practical needs of institutional development.
