In the current wave of world economic globalization,the exchanges between countries are getting closer and closer.A large number of western ideas and cultures poured into China.On the one hand,these foreign culture enrich our native culture,but on the other,they have a huge impact on Chinese culture.Meanwhile,our party and the state has repeatedly emphasized the importance of studying the history that the People’s Republic of China has established,in the meeting.Through learning this period of history,teenagers are able to form a sense of identity with their country and nation,and cultivate a sense of patriotism.They will have a better understanding of national spirit and national connotation.Through the learning,they can also contribute to the socialist cause and practice the core values of socialsm.In addition,the junior high school history teaching documents put forward requirements for this part in terms of course nature,course objectives,course content,ect.This part of history can also help us resist the erosion of historical nihillsm.Therefore,this part of history teaching is necessary.This part of the content is mainly studied in the second semester of the eighth grade.It mainly divided into six units for introduction.The first three units are introduced in chronological order.The last three units introduce the development and achievements in the form of special topics from the six aspects of national relations,diplomacy,national defense,national reunification,technology and social life.In order to gain a concrete and indepth understanding of the current state of teaching in this part,this context conducted a survey of students and teschers.After background analysis,influence relationship analysis and difference analysis of the questionnaire data,combined with the interview content,the existing problems were analyzed.These problems are mainly mainfested in the followings aspects.The teaching mode is the traditional pass-and-receive style;Relevant teaching resources have not been fully developed and utilized;The construction of the teaching system is not perfect.These problems make it difficult for students to achieve personal emotional sublimation and ability improvement in the classroom.At the same time,it is not conducive to the cultivaton of the historical thinking.In view of the existing problems,suggestions are put forward to improve the teaching effects of this part of the history content.For example,carrying out thematic inquiry,story-based teaching and other methods to innovate the classroom teaching mode and increase the temperatuer of history teaching;Play the role of celebrities,parents and peer groups to achieve the diversification of teaching subjects and optimize the effect of history teaching;Organizing students to visit revelant memorial sites to experience history at close range.At the same time,cooperate with revelant local departments to organize the development of the relevant local reading books,in order to attract students’ interst.Finally,taking the special teaching design of “reform and opening-up” as an example,it is hoped that it can provide reference for the development of history teaching that the People’s Republic of China has established.
