If national conditions education is the basic content of socialist and patriotic education, then local history education is the basic unit of national conditions education,is an important part of national education. The Heluo area with Luoyang as the center,not only the earliest entered the civilization era, and in the later thousands of years, has long been China's political, economic, cultural and transportation center,Luoyang as the Heluo cultural origin, her rich and precious historical and cultural resources plays an important role in the development of society. Heluo culture is one of the important sources of Chinese culture, and also the mainstream culture of the Chinese nation. As the people in Luoyang, making full use of Luoyang historical resources through their own intuitive exploration and discussion between each other in local history teaching,can make students know better about the past and present Luoyang, and looking forward to the future direction of Luoyang. Only to be familiar with the historical of Luoyang, and arousing their strong native sentiment, they will taking on the historic task of construction of luoyang, the revitalization of luoyang.Based on luoyang local resources as the center, this thesis discusses the luoyang local resources are applied in the high school history teaching. This thesis is divided into three parts,the first part of introduction can be applied to luoyang local resources in middle school history teaching,such as the material culture legacy and non-material cultural heritage. The second part mainly discusses whether it is feasibility or necessity to using local resources in the middle school history teaching. The third part mainly talked about the application of luoyang local resources to the middle school history teaching in some way,including founding the historical society, carrying out the historical knowledge competition And all other effective way. The fourth part on how to make full use of luoyang local resources also puts forward some suggestions.
