Middle school is a special period for the accelerated development of individual body and mind.It is a key period from childishness to maturity.At the same time,it is also a period of "contradictions" with frequent turbulence,conflict and crisis.With this new characteristic,confusion and confusion will appear in middle school students at any time.If these psychological problems are not guided in time,it will lead to the occurrence of problem behavior of junior middle school students.As one of the "three big balls",basketball has a strong popularity in the society.At the same time,it is also the most common sport in junior middle school campus sports.In order to explore whether basketball has an impact on junior middle school students’ problem behavior,this paper uses the methods of literature,questionnaire,experiment and mathematical statistics to investigate the problem behavior of junior middle school students in grade two of No.11 school in Zhengzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone.The scores of students’ problem behavior are sorted from high to low according to men and women,and the top 40 boys and the top 40 girls are selected respectively,A total of 80 students were selected as the subjects of this experiment.Using a single factor completely random two-stage experimental design,the experimental subjects were divided into experimental group and control group.On the basis of daily physical education teaching in the two groups,the experimental group took basketball training intervention for 8 weeks,while the control group did not intervene.Through the comparative analysis of students’ problem behavior before and after the experiment,this paper discusses the impact of basketball on junior middle school students’ problem behavior.The results are as follows:(1)Before the experiment,there was no significant difference between boys in the experimental group and boys in the control group,girls in the experimental group and girls in the control group in the dimensions of emotional symptoms,conduct problems,hyperactivity,inattention,peer communication problems,prosocial behavior and problem behavior.(2)There was significant difference in emotional symptoms between the experimental group and the control group before and after the experiment;There was no significant difference in conduct between the experimental group and the control group;There was significant difference in hyperactivity inattention between the experimental group and the control group;On the problem of peer communication,the experimental group had significant statistical difference,while the control group had no statistical difference;In prosocial behavior,the experimental group had significant statistical difference,while the control group had no statistical difference;There was significant statistical difference in the total score of problem behavior in the experimental group,but there was no statistical difference in the control group.The differences between the two groups were compared and analyzed.There were significant statistical differences in the total scores of emotional symptoms,hyperactivity,inattention,peer communication,prosocial behavior and difficulties of boys,and there was no statistical difference in conduct problems.(3)There were significant differences in emotional symptoms between the experimental group and the control group before and after the experiment;There was no significant difference in conduct between the experimental group and the control group;There was significant difference in hyperactivity inattention between the experimental group and the control group;There was no significant difference in peer communication between the experimental group and the control group;In prosocial behavior,the experimental group had significant statistical difference,while the control group had no statistical difference;There was significant statistical difference in the total score of problem behavior in the experimental group,but there was no statistical difference in the control group.The difference between the two groups was compared and analyzed.There were no statistical differences in emotional symptoms,conduct problems and peer communication problems.There were significant statistical differences in the total scores of hyperactivity inattention,prosocial behavior and problem behavior.The following conclusions are drawn from the research results:(1)Basketball can significantly improve boys’ and girls’ hyperactivity,inattention,total score of problem behavior and prosocial behavior.(2)Basketball can significantly improve boys’ emotional symptoms and peer communication problems,but has no significant impact on girls.(3)Basketball has no significant impact on the conduct of boys and girls.
