Problem behaviors are very serious and widespread among children ,which have been paid abroad attention .Since 1920's ,many researchers have worked out a great number of problem behavior scales for children and studied the developing tendency influencing factors and causes of children's problem behaviors .But most research just put emphasis on simple measurement and correlation analysis .Only in recent years ,much attention has began to be given to educational intervention .There is high rate of problem behaviors among junior high school students because of the particularity in the development of their body and mind This paper studies the types and characteristics of problem behaviors among junior high school students by questionaire method .interview method and literature analysis .Based on that ,the paper also works out a new Problem Behavior Scale for Junior High School Students as the measuring tool .Then the research has the natural experiment for educational intervention collectively and individually.Conclusions of the paper are the following:I. Problem behavior among junior high school can be divided into five types ,that is ,problem behaviors in study sociality,characteristics ,emotional and moral characters .n. The new Problem Behavior Scale for Junior High School Students can cover the problem behaviors among junior high school students .And it has high resurvey reliability .internal homogeneity reliability .construction and content validity.ID. After educational intervention ,problem behaviors in general are improved obviously .But ?there are different intervention effects on the five types of problem behaviors. Effects on problem behaviors in sociality, characteristics, study and moral characters are significant ,but not are effects on problem behaviors in emotions. (2) There are different intervention effects between male and female students in the experimental classes .Problem behaviors in general are improved significantly .The effects are significant on problem behaviors in sociality and moral characters, but not in emotions. Problem behaviors in characteristics are improved significantly of male students, but not of female students. Problem behaviors in study are improved significantly of female students, but not of male students.IV. The research shows that the comprehensive educational intervention is feasible and effective in problem behaviors among junior high school students.
