| The International Classification of Functioning,Disability and Health(ICF),introduced by the World Health Organization(WHO)in 2001,provides a new perspective on people with disability and rehabilitation from a "bio-psycho-social" perspective, which is a conceptual challenge to the existing medical model. However,it has been found in practice that as a group of people with acquired disabilities, patients with spinal cord injury still have the dominant role of medical mode in the actual hospital rehabilitation process, and it is difficult to achieve comprehensive rehabilitation under the bio-psycho-social mode.So why is it difficult to realize the biology-psychology-social model in current practice? Can the participation of social work lead to the formation of a bio-psycho-social model in the process of in-hospital rehabilitation of spinal cord injury patients? Therefore, this study aims to explore the rehabilitation of spinal cord injury patients and build the bio-psycho-social patterns in this process. With X city people’s hospital inpatient rehabilitation spinal cord injury patients as the research object, this study uses qualitative research method, presents a spinal cord injury patients to achieve in the bio-psycho-social model generating mechanism of recovery. In the absence of social work intervention in patients with spinal cord injury in the rehabilitation process of patients into new medical space, they restricted by the medical discourse in doctor-patient interaction, lose their subjectivity, formed by a dominant consumption type recovery model,it has low compliance, low trust and dynamic characteristics, shows the current hospital rehabilitation faults in the concept of medical model. Then, under the professional social work intervention, the patient as the service object,in the process of hospital rehabilitation experience to feel accepted and unique individual subjectivity, make up for the deficiency of the perspective of consumption in the medical model rehabilitation, goal oriented, select create type recovery mode actively, realize the recovery of spinal cord injury patients was subjectivity,It meets the biological, psychological and social needs in the rehabilitation process.Studies have found that in the rehabilitation process of spinal cord injury under the traditional medical model, the psychological and social needs of patients are treated as non-necessities and responded by the personal literacy of medical workers, which is easy to lead to consumptive rehabilitation. The addition of social work as a necessity to respond through professional social work services,as a supplement to the medical model, can promote the realization of the bio-psycho-social model and achieve better recovery of patients with spinal cord injury. |
