| At present,China’s stranger social networking market has a huge scale.Iimedia data report shows that the number of stranger social networking users were closed to650 million in 2020 and is still growing.With the endless emergence of stranger social apps,a large number of ambiguous,suggestive and even sexual metaphors of "soft eroticism" appear in their content,which has a significant impact on users.The user group with the largest proportion of strangers’ social contact is about 18-26 years old.College students,as a group of age corresponding,the first to use and strong influence among peers,have great research value.Therefore,this paper takes college students as the research object to study their attitudes towards soft pornography in stranger social apps.In this paper,the author compiled an inquiry based on literature and in-depth interviews.327 valuable surveys collected via wechat,Weibo,QQ,Douban and other online platforms,and in-depth interviews were conducted with 10 college students.Combined with the existing papers,the author extracted the motivation of using stranger social APP for college students,including social identification motivation,entertainment motivation,subjective norm motivation,relationship motivation,social motivation and sexual motivation.After data analysis with SPSS 26,the results show that gender and frequency of use in demographic variables have a significant impact on college students’ attitudes toward soft pornography.In addition,sexual motivation,social identity motivation and subjective norm motivation are positively correlated with college students’ attitude towards soft pornography,which has a significant positive impact.Entertainment motivation has a significant negative influence on the dependent variable.Social motivation and relationship motivation have no influence on college students’ attitude towards soft pornography.In this study,the use of strangers’ social APP is taken as an independent variable,and the attitude of college students towards soft porn is included in the paper,which enrichis the research field of audience attitude in the communication effect,and enrichis the research connotation of this field through qualitative and quantitative research.This study can objectively present college students’ attitudes towards stranger social APP use and soft pornography. |
