History carries the memories and emotions of generations of people,and is the key material for resisting the trend of historical nihilism and cultivating patriotic feelings.Affected by various factors,Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan university students’ understanding of the history of the motherland is not comprehensive and profound,and they lack a sense of belonging and pride in the country,and they urgently need to receive education in the country’s modern history and modern history.As a general term for the history of the party,the history of new China,the history of reform and opening up,and the history of the development of socialism,the "four histories" not only record the history of the struggle of the Chinese people in modern times to explore and save the country and resist aggression,but also tell the history of the struggle of the modern Chinese people to overcome all difficulties and build dreams together,and is a historical textbook that helps Hong Kong,Macao,and Taiwan university students understand the motherland and strengthen their national identity.Therefore,it is of great significance and value to study how to integrate the "four histories" education into the national conditions education of Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan university students.This paper systematically explains the core concepts of "four histories" education and education on the national conditions of Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan university students through the literature research method,and explores the logical relationship between the "four histories" education and the national conditions education of Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan university students.In addition,the questionnaire method was used to understand the current situation of the integration of the "four histories" education into the national conditions education of Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan university students.Through data analysis,it can be found that the current "four histories" education into the national conditions education of Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan university students has problems such as lack of overall planning,lack of effective channels,and lack of rational cognition.The main reasons for this are: the long-term penetration of bad social ideological trends,the unsound integration mechanism of colleges and universities,the relative weakening of students’ historical foundation,and the negative impact of the media communication mechanism.At the same time,it is further analyzed that the principle of integrating the "four histories" education into the national conditions education of Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan university students lies in adhering to the unity of history and the times,the unity of theory and practice,and the unity of dominance and subjectivity,and the goal is to guide the students of Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan to establish a correct view of history,build national identity,and assume the responsibility for national rejuvenation.On this basis,from the government level,the university level,and the media level,the path of integrating the "four histories" education into the national conditions education of Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan university students is discussed.
