In recent years,the functions of mobile phones have been gradually optimized,and now mobile phones have a variety of functions such as calling,learning,entertainment,communication and so on.With its portability,timeliness,richness and other characteristics,mobile phones are sought after and favored by more people..However,in the context of extensive and frequent use,a large number of people have become dependent on mobile phones.As aborigines who use mobile phones,primary school students now have innate advantages in using mobile phones.However,the phenomenon of primary school students’ dependence on mobile phones is becoming increasingly prominent,which has caused some adverse effects on their learning and life and interfered with their physical and mental health development.Therefore,it is of far-reaching significance for social work to intervene in primary school students’ mobile phone dependence.On the basis of previous literature research,this study took H Primary School in N city as an example to carry out the mobile phone dependence questionnaire survey and mobile phone dependence scale filling activities.Based on the results of the questionnaire survey and the author’s observation in school,it further analyzed the causes of primary school students’ mobile phone dependence.After identifying the causes of mobile phone dependence in H Primary school,six primary school students with severe mobile phone dependence were selected according to the score of mobile phone dependence scale.Based on cognitive behavioral theory and advantage perspective theory,group activity plans were formulated and six sections of group work were carried out.Help group members establish correct cognition of mobile phone use,improve self-control ability of mobile phone use,cultivate interests and hobbies,and improve interpersonal skills,so that group members can relieve or get rid of their dependence on mobile phones.The evaluation of the intervention effect of group work shows that the mobile phone dependence of the clients has been greatly alleviated.Finally,the author summarizes and reflects on this activity,and provides referable suggestions for social work intervention of primary school students’ dependence.Under the guidance of professional values and concepts of social work,this study uses the method of group work to intervene the mobile phone dependence problem of primary school students,hoping to play a positive role in the future research in this area.
