The Research On National Security Awareness Education In Politics Teaching In Junior High School

National security,which plays the important role in the prosperity of the nation and the happiness of people,is a prerequisite for the country’s stability wealth and strength.In current,our world is undergoing great development,change and adjustment,and China is also changing profoundly in a century.With the national security situation becoming increasingly complex and volatile,junior high school students’ awareness of national security needs to be raised.The report of the 19 th Party Congress points out that national security education should be comprehensively strengthened,and the Holistic View of National Security has been incorporated into the Ideological and Political Education Curriculum.The new textbook,Morality and the Rule of Law,includes more important sources on the Holistic View of National Security and national security knowledge,which shows that our country attaches to the importance to national security awareness education for junior high school student.Morality and the Rule of Law which plays he great theoretical and practical roles of cultivating junior high school students’ national security awareness,maintaining China’s national security and promoting prosperity and development.This paper defines the concepts related to national security awareness education,analyses the relationship between junior high school political teaching and national security awareness education and elucidate the significance of strengthening students’ national security awareness.And it focus on the current situation of national security awareness education in Politics Teaching through questionnaires and interviews,including the effectiveness of national security awareness education in junior high school political teaching and the problems.It focus on discussing in five aspects:teaching materials system,teaching methods,teaching resources,teaching evaluation system and students’ awareness of national security.The paper focus on finding the problems and then solving them.In response to the problems of national security awareness education in junior high school politics teaching,this paper proposes effective countermeasures mainly including five aspects: improving the subject curriculum system,enriching and integrating national security awareness education materials;building a high-quality teacher team and improving their national security awareness and ability;establishing a collaborative education mechanism inside and outside the school,and collecting education resources in many aspects;establishing a scientific and efficient teaching and learning evaluation mechanism;and deepening students’ self-learning and education to establish an overall national security outlook.However,strengthening national security awareness among junior high school students cannot be only confined the politics courses,but all teaching resources should also be given full play to in order to enrich the content of national security awareness education and improve the effectiveness of national security awareness education in junior high school politics teaching.
