As a special economic zone,Shantou has always adhered to the foundation of education,implemented the concept of innovative development,constructed an educational development model,improved school running conditions,improved the strength of teachers,and promoted the all-round development of education.However,there are still many problems in Shantou’s education,especially in the context of the rapid development of urbanization,rural education has also exposed many problems,especially the education of "students with learning difficulties" in rural junior middle schools.On the basis of studying and summarizing the cutting-edge research results at home and abroad,this paper mainly takes all the representative rural junior middle school students with learning difficulties in Shantou as the research object,designs a questionnaire around the students’ personal learning,family structure,school learning and surrounding social environment,and uses the method of literature research and Through interviews with parents and students,we have an in-depth understanding of the causes of "students with learning difficulties" in rural junior middle schools in Shantou.Through the analysis of survey data and interviews,it is concluded that the causes of "students with learning difficulties" in rural junior middle schools in Shantou are:improper learning methods and high weariness of learning,low cultural literacy of parents,backward concept of family education,backward school teaching equipment,low teaching quality of teachers,negative impact of social environment and so on.In view of these causes and combined with their own practical experience,the author puts forward the corresponding transformation countermeasures: students should form a correct view of self-knowledge and establish self-confidence;Correct learning objectives and cultivate learning interest;Explore suitable learning methods and improve performance;Strengthen the connection between home and school to promote the healthy growth of students;Create a harmonious family and create a happy atmosphere;Renew the concept of education and abandon the concept of "reading is useless";Tap the bright spots,give full play to students’ specialties and promote students to forge ahead;Enrich classroom teaching activities and improve teachers’ teaching ability;Offer love,stimulate interest in learning and encourage students to work hard;Improve teaching equipment and create a happy and harmonious campus;Optimize the social environment and strengthen the management of Internet cafes;Strengthen the management of cultural market and crack down on the management of bad books;Improve the unhealthy atmosphere in society.
