Secondary vocational school is the main component of modern vocational education system construction in our country.Secondary vocational school is the main position to train a large number of skilled talents and high-quality workers."Vocational education highland" construction in jiangxi province in the series to explore clear requirements,by the year of 2022,the province secondary vocational school enrolment plan account for 50% of the high school enrolment plan,higher vocational colleges and universities to recruit the proportion more than 35% of secondary vocational school graduates,cohesion in vocational training proportion of15% or more.The affirmation of the importance of secondary vocational education,broaden the channels for the promotion of secondary vocational,but also put forward higher requirements for the quality of personnel training in secondary vocational.Therefore,secondary vocational students need to correct learning attitude,highly invested in knowledge and skills learning.Learning engagement refers to the continuous vitality,concentration and dedication shown by students in the process of learning knowledge and skills,which can measure the quality of students’ learning activities.On the basis of social exchange theory,social support theory,self-efficacy theory and relevant empirical research,this paper introduces academic self-efficacy as a mediating variable,analyzes the influence of social support on learning engagement and the mediating effect of academic self-efficacy.Based on a survey of 704 students from three secondary vocational schools in Jiangxi Province,the results show that:(1)There are differences in gender,family economic status and academic performance of secondary vocational students in learning investment,but the differences are not significant,there are significant differences in the reasons for choosing different grades and majors.(2)The overall level of learning investment is below the middle level,among the three dimensions,concentration score is the highest,dedication score is the second,and vitality score is the lowest.(3)Perceived social support was positively correlated with perceived academic self-efficacy,and perceived social support,especially other support dimensions can significantly positively predict academic self-efficacy.Academic self-efficacy was positively correlated with learning engagement.Academic self-efficacy,especially academic behavior self-efficacy can positively predict learning engagement.Perceived social support positively correlated with learning engagement,and perceived social support,especially family support can positively predicted learning engagement.(4)The mediating effect of academic self-efficacy on the perceived impact of social support on learning engagement is significant.Therefore,in order to improve the investment level of secondary vocational students in the learning process of knowledge and skills,and then improve the quality of secondary vocational talent training,it is necessary to implement multiple teaching to educate people and stimulate the potential of internal learning;Construct multi-dimensional support system to strengthen extrinsic learning behavior;Enhance various core competitiveness,promote potential behavior transformation.
