career option difficulties to engage in and choose one of several occupations when making career choices.It is an important research content in career psychology.As a new force of social development.Taking the career decision-making difficulty scale,active personality scale,social support evaluation scale and Career choice self-efficacy scale as research tools,this study understands and analyzes the relationship among active personality,social support,career choice efficacy and career decision-making difficulty through literature analysis,questionnaire investigation and interview.In Study 1,there are 721 graduate students selected as the research object by random sampling.Analysis of variance,sample t-test,connection analysis and intermediary effect test were used to search the connection among proactive personality,social support,Career choice self-efficacy andcareer option difficulties.Study 2 adopted the method of purposeful sampling.In Study 1,individuals with low and highcareer option difficulties were purposefully selected,and semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted to further explain the specific mechanism among initiative personality,social support,career choice efficacy andcareer option difficulties on the basis of questionnaire survey and data analysis,The following important conclusions are drawn:(1)At present,the level of graduate students’ career option difficulties is above medium,which needs to be paid attention to,among which the average score of career self exploration difficulties is the highest.(2)Postgraduates’ initiative personality,career option difficulties,social support and Career choice self-efficacy are correlated.The specific situation is as follows:Graduate Students’ career option difficulties are negatively correlated with initiative personality,social support and Career choice self-efficacy;Initiative personality was positively correlated with social support and Career choice self-efficacy;There was a positive correlation among social support and Career choice self-efficacy.(3)There are significant differences incareer option difficulties and initiative personality in gender,grade and whether they are the only child or not;Whether there are significant differences in the type of only child,master’s sense of job choice and family effectiveness;Social support has significant differences in gender,grade and whether it is an only child.(4)Active personality positively affects social support and Career choice self-efficacy,and negatively affectscareer option difficulties;Social support has a positive impact on Career choice self-efficacy and a negative impact oncareer option difficulties;Career choice efficacy negatively affectscareer option difficulties.(5)The separate mediating effect results indicate social support plays a partial mediating part among active personality andcareer option difficulties,and career choice efficacy plays a partial mediating part among active personality andcareer option difficulties.The chain mediating effect of result indicats social support and Career choice self-efficacy play a partial chain mediating part among initiative personality andcareer option difficulties.(6)The results of semi-structured interviews in Study 2 verify the content of quantitative research results to a certain extent.According to the above results,it is concluded that graduate students’ active personality can negatively predictcareer option difficulties.After introducing social support and career choice efficacy into the analysis model,it is found that the level of graduate students’ career option difficulties can further affect the level ofcareer option difficulties through social support and career choice efficacy.
