At present,our country’s employment situation is fairly grim,but postgraduate generally feel uncertain about the future career. Particularly in the field of career decision-making, they generally lack awareness about themselves and the workplace, so it is difficult to make a decision for them. Based on this, this study attempts to provide some help and guidance for postgraduate employment counseling from career decision-making self-efficacy and social support perspective.This study’s subjects include a total of921postgraduates from five universities at different grades in Wuhan.This study makes use of Career Decision-making Self-efficacy Scale, Social Support Rating Scale, Career Decision-making Difficulty Scale to investigate,uses t test and variance analysis to analyze the characteristic of postgraduates’ career decision-making self-efficacy,and also uses correlation analysis and regression analysis to explore the relationship of career decision-making self-efficacy, social support and career decision-making difficulties.The conclusions are as follows:(1) Postgraduates’career decision-making self-efficacy has significant differences in gender,grade, graduate or non-graduate,marital status,single child or non-single child,with or without part-time work experiences, with or without a clear work intention.(2)Correlation analysis shows that postgraduates’career decision-making self-efficacy and social support have a significant positive correlation; Overall, postgraduates’career decision-making self-efficacy and career decision-making difficulties are significantly negatively correlated and only problem solving and lack of decision-making motive have a significant positive correlation; Postgraduates’social support and career decision-making difficulties have a significant negative correlation.(3)Regression analysis shows that postgraduate’s social support total score has significant positive predictional function to the career decision-making self-efficacy total score;The career decision-making self-efficacy total score has significant negative predictional function to the career decision-making difficulties total score;The social support total score has significant negative predictional function to the career decision-making difficulties total score.(4)Mediating effect test results show that postgraduate’s career decision-making self-efficacy plays a partial intermediary role in social support and career decision-making difficulties.
