Research On The Improvement Of The Affinity Of College Students’ Ideological And Political Education Methods

At the National Conference on Ideological and Political Work in Colleges and Universities,General Secretary Xi Jinping clearly requested that "The affinity and relevance of ideological and political education are demanded to be enhanced to meet the needs and expectations of students’ growth and development." At present,China has started a new journey of comprehensively building a socialist modern country,which has put forward higher requirements for cultivating socialist builders and successors with comprehensive development of morality,intellect,physical fitness and aesthetic skills.Therefore,to enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education,it is necessary to incorporate affable educational methods throughout the whole process of ideological and political education.Enhancing the affinity of ideological and political education methods has important theoretical and practical significance for enriching the theory of ideological and political education,enhancing the teaching effect of the ideological and political classes in the new era,and implementing the fundamental task of establishing moral education and so on.This paper outlines the relevant definition and connotation of the affinity of ideological and political education methods for college students,explains the theoretical basis for the construction of the affinity of ideological and political education methods for college students,and analyzes the shortcomings of the affinity of ideological and political education methods for college students.The deficiencies of the current teaching methods are mainly manifested in: emphasizing theoretical inculcation rather than emotional experience;emphasizing practical results rather than practical process;emphasizing the results of example propaganda rather than practical situation.This paper also analyzes the main causes of the lack of affinity of ideological and political education methods for college students from the perspectives of education subject,education mediator and education circumstance.University is a pivotal period in the growth of students.At this level,students’ theoretical knowledge is deepening and their practical ability is increasing,and through ideological and political education,students can correctly apply theories of their disciplines to analyze and solve problems,so it is particularly important to choose education and teaching methods with affinity in this process to enhance the effectiveness of teaching.This paper addresses the problems of the current ideological and political education methods for college students and proposes the main paths to enhance the affinity of education methods: to convince people with reason,to optimize theoretical inculcation education by creating a good classroom atmosphere,showing the quality connotation of teachers and manifesting the humanistic care of thinking and politics;to unite knowledge and practice,to pragmatically promote practical teaching by expanding the forms of practical activities,enriching the content of practical activities and improving the evaluation mechanism of practical activities;to do a good job of typical demonstration.We must do a good job of exemplary teaching,and effectively play the role of leading role models by establishing scientific and reasonable criteria for selecting role models,building an effective model for exemplary education,and carrying out comprehensive exemplary publicity work.
