Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of After-school Sports Services In Tongling Primary Schools Under The "Double Reduction" Policy

The primary and secondary school students in the compulsory education stage have a heavy burden,and how to reduce the burden on the students has become a hot topic of general concern in the society in recent years.In July2021,the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the General Office of the State Council issued the most severe burden reduction order in my country’s history-"Opinions on Further Reducing the Burden of Students’ Homework and Off-campus Training in Compulsory Education"(hereinafter referred to as "Opinions"),requiring Improve the quality of after-school services,effectively implement various after-school education activities,meet students’ needs for individualized,differentiated,and practical learning,put forward appropriate physical exercise,and carry out reading and literary activities..As a part of after-school sports services,after-school sports services can guide students to participate in sports activities,develop their personalities,promote their physical and mental health,cultivate their enthusiasm for participating in sports activities,reduce the burden on students in activities,cultivate good morals,and promote students.comprehensive development to achieve the fundamental task of "Lide Shuren".In order to earnestly implement the task of "double reduction",Tongling City promulgated the "Tongling City Compulsory Education School After-School Service Work Plan",and actively carried out after-school service work in the city.However,due to the short implementation time of the "double reduction" policy,there are still many problems in the specific implementation process.Therefore,it is very necessary to investigate the status quo of after-school services in Tongling primary schools under the "double reduction" policy and to propose countermeasures for the existing problems.This research uses the methods of literature materials,questionnaires,interviews,etc.,through questionnaires and interviews with students,parents,service teachers and school leaders of 8 primary schools in Tongling City,as well as the author’s on-the-spot investigation,to effectively grasp the "double reduction" The real situation of after-school sports services in primary schools in Tongling City under the policy.The results of the study are as follows:(1)Most school leaders,teachers,students and parents have a supportive attitude towards after-school sports services,but some school leaders and students have a vague understanding of after-school sports services before and after the "double reduction".Reasons that affect student learning,the quality of services,or take up personal time are not supported.(2)Under the "double reduction" policy,the management model of after-school sports services in primary schools in Tongling City is good,but there are still some differences in the supervision of management models between on-campus teacher services,social professionals or volunteer services,and third-party institutions.(3)Compared with before the "double reduction",Tongling primary school after-school sports services have significantly improved in terms of service items,teachers,service funds,and the frequency and time of development,but there are still some deficiencies.(4)Compared with before the "double reduction",the venue facilities,organization forms and event organization of after-school sports services in primary schools in Tongling City have not changed much,which affects the quality and effect of after-school sports services.(5)Under the "double reduction" policy,the management of after-school sports service regulations in primary schools in Tongling City is not perfect,the implementation is insufficient,and the implementation of resources utilization,service organization,teachers,and service funds is inconsistent.(6)Most parents,teachers and students are satisfied with the development effect of after-school sports services,but due to teachers,service quality,venue equipment,service funds,etc.,the development effect is not satisfactory,and parents and teachers are generally satisfied.
