Research On The Construction And Development Of Nanjing Basketball Characteristic School Under The Background Of Small Basketball Development Plan

As early as the 1980 s,Nanjing small basketball has been carried out,but the overall process is slow.Until 2017,36 primary and secondary schools in Nanjing were selected into the first batch of national youth campus basketball characteristic schools;In the same year,the Chinese Basketball Association restarted the small basketball program,and the small basketball movement received unprecedented attention.Under the background of the small basketball program,the construction and development of Nanjing basketball characteristic schools are facing new challenges.Taking 10 basketball characteristic schools in Nanjing as an example,this paper uses the methods of literature,stratified random sampling,questionnaire survey,interview and mathematical statistics to study.Based on the above contents,this paper analyzes the current situation of the construction of basketball characteristic schools in Nanjing under the background of the small basketball program from four aspects: organization and leadership,condition guarantee,education,teaching,training and competition,and explores the development path on this basis.The study concluded that:1.In terms of organization and leadership,most leaders at all levels of Nanjing basketball characteristic schools actively implement national policies,and the construction of campus basketball rules and regulations of some schools still needs to be improved.2.In terms of condition guarantee,the 10 basketball characteristic schools surveyed all have good hardware and site facilities,and all have sufficient activity funds.The construction of basketball professional teachers in some schools is relatively lacking,and the number of special basketball teaching training can not meet the needs of teacher development.3.In terms of education and teaching,four of the 10 schools surveyed have set up school-based courses of small basketball.Most of the school teachers’ teaching materials are not unified,the teaching methods are not flexible,the selection of teaching methods is more traditional,and the innovation still needs to be strengthened.4.In terms of training and competition,each school has a basketball team,but the construction of school level men’s basketball team and school level women’s basketball team is uneven.The class basketball team and grade basketball team have not been popularized in the whole school,and the school has less basketball games.In view of the above problems,the following suggestions are put forward:1.School principals and school leaders should constantly improve their own qualities,improve and optimize the system construction and supervision and management mechanism.2.The school and the government shall continue to maintain the condition guarantee in terms of site facilities and activity funds;Strengthen the team building of basketball special teachers,increase the number of teacher training,ensure the steady development of school basketball special courses,and further improve the teaching quality.3.Organize teachers to create school-based courses,adopt more flexible teaching methods,constantly try and innovate,and provide more comprehensive,scientific and theoretical teaching for the construction of basketball characteristic schools.4.Strengthen the cultural publicity of small basketball through cheerleading,photography and essay solicitation,coordinate the development of school level male and female basketball teams,improve the competition system,and popularize class and grade basketball teams;Set up class and grade leagues to increase the number of basketball matches.
