Korea has a close relationship with China and is deeply influenced by Chinese thought and culture.Chinese language teaching is playing an increasing role in Korean education.I will limit the scope of research in South Korea’s Gyeonggi-do City Tae Sung High School combined with my overseas teaching institutions.Culture teaching is an important part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The purpose of this study is to investigate the cognitive level,identification level,interest tendency and cognitive channel of Chinese cultural symbols of Korean high school students,to understand the current situation of Chinese cultural symbols in Korean high school students,to find out the problems of Chinese cultural teaching in Korean high school students,and to put forward effective suggestions for the dissemination of Chinese culture in Korean high school students.Through combing the relevant research literature of Chinese cultural symbols,this paper chooses 220 senior high school students of Tae Sung High school in Korea as the subjects of investigation by the method of questionnaire survey and comparative analysis,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the cognition of Chinese cultural symbols.Through comparative analysis,it is found that Korean high school students generally have a higher degree of recognition of Chinese cultural symbols,whether they study Chinese or not;and Chinese learners have a higher degree of recognition than non-Chinese learners;in the aspect of interest tendency,non-Chinese learners show great interest tendency to Chinese cultural symbols;in the aspect of cognitive channel,we find that Chinese teaching is still the main channel to spread Chinese culture.On this basis,this paper puts forward some suggestions: in the aspect of textbook compiling,we should pay attention to the content of the textbook keeping pace with the times and strengthen the pertinence of the textbook;and in the aspect of teachers’ growth,we should combine the pre-job training to strengthen the cultivation of teachers’ professional quality with teachers’ professional consciousness;Confucius Institute needs to adjust the proportion of in-class and extra-curricular activities according to the school situation,so as to encourage teachers to make full use of modern educational technology.
