The promulgation and implementation of a number of national strategic documents related to sports in China marks that the development of sports in China has entered a new stage.The social and economic development needs to put forward higher requirements for the quality of sports talents.As one of the main specialties to cultivate sports talents,sports training specialty should shoulder the important task of improving the quality of sports talents in the new era.Using the research methods of literature,network investigation,mathematical statistics and comparative analysis,this study takes the sports training professional curriculum system of China’s science and engineering colleges as the research object,analyzes the current situation of sports training professional curriculum system construction in China’s science and engineering colleges,and compares it with the model colleges,comprehensive colleges and sports colleges,This paper summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of constructing the curriculum system of sports training specialty in science and engineering colleges,and puts forward Optimization Countermeasures in combination with case analysis,in order to promote the development of sports training specialty in the new period and provide some reference and help for improving the training quality of sports training talents in China.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The training objectives of sports training professionals in the eight science and engineering colleges have different expressions in terms of talent specifications,training directions,norms and requirements.They focus on cultivating "advanced applied talents",and the types of talents are diversified.(2)There is no unified system standard for the curriculum system of sports training major in the eight colleges of science and engineering.The curriculum and credit distribution are different.There is a large gap in the proportion of credits between compulsory courses and elective courses.The general education course focuses on offering natural courses and courses in the field of Science and technology to varying degrees.(3)The professional education courses of sports training major in eight colleges of science and engineering show that the theoretical basic courses are gradually paid attention to and the types of subject courses are increasing;The proportion of professional theory courses and technical courses is shrinking,from the original "emphasizing technology and ignoring theory" to the direction of "emphasizing both theory and technology";Some colleges and universities pay more attention to the development of students’ personality.Professional elective courses account for a large proportion,and can offer interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary courses.(4)The practice courses of Sports Training Majors in the eight science and engineering colleges are mainly professional practice courses and scientific research training courses.Although a few schools can take innovation and entrepreneurship practice courses as characteristic courses,they do not pay enough attention to social practice courses and innovation and entrepreneurship practice courses on the whole.(5)The comparison of the curriculum system of sports training major between science and engineering colleges and normal colleges,comprehensive colleges and sports colleges shows that the general education curriculum of science and engineering colleges reflects the characteristics of science and engineering;Teachers’ colleges and comprehensive colleges pay more attention to the theoretical basis of disciplines;The establishment of elective courses in the professional direction of various colleges and universities can highlight the characteristics of their own colleges and universities.(6)The advantages of constructing the curriculum system of sports training major in science and engineering colleges are: the school agrees with the training objectives of the major;There are many and strong science and engineering courses;The curriculum design and the training idea are consistent;A strong atmosphere of innovation and practice.At this stage,there are some shortcomings: the curriculum is unreasonable,and the curriculum division is lack of standardization;Unreasonable credit distribution and narrow scope of elective courses;The characteristic courses are not outstanding and the interdisciplinary courses are scarce;There is little innovation and entrepreneurship practice,and social practice is not prominent.(7)In view of the existing shortcomings,the Optimization Countermeasures for the curriculum system of sports training major in science and engineering colleges are as follows:adjust the relationship between compulsory courses and elective courses,make the curriculum structure both rigid and flexible,and standardize the curriculum according to the national standard;Adjust the proportion of credits,flexibly set up professional elective courses,increase the proportion of credits of elective courses,and increase the types of elective courses;Relying on the discipline advantages of the University,we will add characteristic courses of science and engineering to carry out interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary teaching;Strengthen practical education,increase the content of social practice and innovative practice courses,and broaden the practice path.
