With the continuous development of higher education in China,the number of college graduates increases year by year,and the difficulty of employment increases.In recent years,the novel coronavirus has spread,and many small and medium-sized enterprises have experienced layoffs or even closures,which makes college graduates more confident when facing employment problems.Under the new situation,the employment difficulties of college students are becoming increasingly prominent,and the employment confidence of fresh graduates has been greatly affected.This problem has been widely concerned by families,schools,education departments and even the whole society.Under the guidance of the theory of social work energy enhancement,this paper investigates and analyzes the employment confidence of college students in Xi’an Jiaotong University,Shaanxi Normal University,Shaanxi Northwest University and Shaanxi Vocational and Technical College through questionnaire survey and structural interview.Through the four dimensions of confidence in employment provided by scholars in the field of sociology research: employment ability confidence,employment guidance confidence,career adaptation and career development confidence,the reasons for the lack of employment confidence and the improvement path of the current university graduates are discussed.On the basis of the above work,select a certain number of employment college students with insufficient employment confidence for employment confidence promotion intervention work.Group activities by understanding the specific needs of the service objects and set the work plan,and carry out,implement the activities,to guide the group service objects focus on understanding their own characteristics,enhance job-hunting skills and other aspects,and finally promote the change of service objects,increase employment confidence.Finally,the whole research process is summarized and reflected,and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions from the perspective of social work to improve the employment confidence of college graduates from three dimensions: paying attention to their own ability building,strengthening employment guidance,multi-social linkage and providing employment support.
