The education of Chinese excellent traditional culture is quite critical.Primary schools have realized this and carried out relevant activities,and the development of Chinese excellent traditional culture education through primary school festival activities is not only in line with the physical and mental development characteristics of primary school students,but also conducive to the school’s own campus culture construction.Primary school festival activities can be divided into national traditional festivals,modern legal festivals and school own festivals,which contain rich themes of Chinese excellent traditional culture and can effectively promote the effective implementation of Chinese excellent traditional culture education,and it is an effective carrier and powerful stating point of Chinese excellent traditional culture education.On the basis of relevant research theory,this paper focuses on the research through questionnaire survey and depth interview of primary school festival activities of the current situation analysis and the strategy,and find that there are still many problems in the specific implementation level due to the lack of effective carrier.The results are as the following.Firstly,the sample schools generally realize the importance of Chinese excellent traditional culture education,and festival activities is its good carrier.In terms of its content implementation,the effect of national feelings education is good,while the personality cultivation education and social care education are relatively poor.Secondly,it is faced with problems such as insufficient investment and professionalism,and the unbalanced integration of different types of festival activities into traditional culture and education.Thirdly,in the specific implementation there are significant differences like school regional differences and student stage differences.Based on the above,this paper make three pieces of advice.First,as to the Chinese excellent traditional culture education content,continue to maintain the feelings education,gradually improve the social care education,vigorously strengthen the personality education,especially emerge the Father / Mother’s Day,Labor Day and other modern legal festivals and school festival activities into the traditional culture education.Second,the implementation of traditional culture education through festival activities needs a series of guarantees,such as policy and financial support from education authorities,the intervention of family education and social forces,attachment of importance to the professional and teacher team construction of Chinese excellent traditional culture education,and improvement of the education system of excellent traditional Chinese culture.Third,the development of primary school festival activities should be based on the growth characteristics of primary school students,in different stages to reflect the excellent traditional Chinese culture education differently;using the famous school plus effect,policy tilt and revitalization of remote area economy to narrow regional differences.
