In the context of the new era,the concept of lifelong learning has become a topic of constant concern in education forums.Chemistry plays an important role in human understanding,transformation and application of the material world,and is an important part of science education.The chemical knowledge learned by students in senior high school will be gradually forgotten as they enter society,while the basic chemistry concepts formed by students on the basis of chemical knowledge and experience will guide them to understand the material world and its changing rules scientifically.Facing social development and new curriculum reform,the construction of basic chemistry concepts should become the value pursuit and development direction of basic chemistry education.Based on the existing literature research,this thesis clarifies the train of thought and content framework,mainly including theoretical research and teaching practice research.In terms of theoretical research,this thesis analyzes the connotation of the basic chemistry concepts,systematically organizes the content and composition of the basic concepts of chemistry in senior high school,discusses the relationship between chemical knowledge,basic concepts of chemistry and core literacy of chemistry,and puts forward the teaching design model and teaching strategies based on the construction of basic chemistry concepts.In terms of teaching practice research,in the early stage of the practice,the author used questionnaire survey to investigate the current situation of the formation of the basic concepts of chemistry in senior high school students,the results showed that senior high school students have a high degree of recognition of the basic concepts of chemistry,but their understanding and application level is weak,indicating the necessity of concept construction teaching;In the middle of the practice,the author took the contents of Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 of “Principles of Chemical Reactions”,Selective compulsory 1 of PEP Edition(2019)as example,conducted teaching analysis on chapter contents,compiled the teaching design and carried out the teaching practice guided by the theory of “based on the construction of basic chemistry concepts”;In the later stage of the practice,the author detected the teaching effect by means of examination test and data analysis.The research results show that the students’ knowledge transfer and application ability as well as the core literacy of chemistry subject have been improved to a certain extent through the teaching based on the basic concept of chemistry.Therefore,this research has certain educational value and practical significance.Through theoretical analysis and teaching practice research,this thesis aims to enrich the existing research results and present the importance and feasibility of cultivating students to form basic concepts of chemistry. |
