Under the fierce market competition and the deepening reform of the financial system,all commercial banks are under great operating pressure.At the same time,the competition among the industries is becoming increasingly fierce.In this case,the bank ’ s performance appraisal indicators for employees continue to increase,the quality and efficiency of work and financial services continue to improve,the workload is often overloaded,the pressure on employees to work is gradually increasing.The new bank employees are the fresh blood of the bank employees and the new force of business development.As they have just entered the workplace,they have insufficient adaptability and slow role change,resulting in a series of work pressure problems.Long-term job stress has a negative physiological and psychological impact on new employees,including reducing job satisfaction,causing illness,hindering personal and bank development.Therefore,it is very important to effectively alleviate the working pressure of new bank employees.This paper takes the new employees of branch J as the research object,and sorts out and summarizes the research results of the theoretical model of job stress,job stress sources,employee job stress,and social work intervention in employee stress.At the same time,the concepts of new employees,stress and work stress are defined based on the research results of different scholars,which lays an important theoretical foundation for practical research.The author and the research object work in J branch,through the use of observation method,interview method,questionnaire survey method to J branch new employee work pressure causes and sources of pressure were investigated and analyzed.It is found that the stress of new employees in J branch mainly comes from work itself,role in organization,organization management,interpersonal relationship and career development.Through in-depth interviews with eight new employees,the author understands that the needs of new employees to alleviate work stress include : the needs of improving the adaptability of the work itself,the needs of learning to play the role of the organization,the needs of formulating personal career planning,the needs of interpersonal relationship adjustment and the needs of learning to alleviate work stress skills.Combined with the stress status and demand assessment results of J branch,the author uses the group work practice method to help new employees improve their adaptability and alleviate work pressure.In the group work,the author uses social support theory to help new employees perceive corporate culture,improve their ability to adapt to the work itself,adjust interpersonal relationships,learn decompression methods,and build social support networks,so that new employees ’ ability to cope with job stress is improved.The author believes that the combination of group work and social support theory is an effective method to alleviate the work stress of new employees in banks,which can help new employees alleviate or eliminate a series of problems caused by work stress.This study has achieved substantial results,enriched the research results of social work intervention in the work stress of new bank employees,and explored a new way to alleviate the work stress of new bank employees.
