Junior middle school physical education is one of the basic physical education,and it is also the key to link primary school to college physical education.Objective: At the national vigorously promote the concept of moral education,curriculum teaching background,in this thesis,the traditional teaching method of junior high school basketball class some of the deficiencies,research Mosston reciprocal type teaching method is applied to the junior middle school basketball teaching to student’s physical quality,specialized skills,learning,emotion,play a role and effect on teaching effect,Teachers can adjust their teaching strategies in time to provide reference for the improvement of basketball selection and test scores in some areas and the teaching methods of middle school PE,and finally achieve the purpose of improving teaching quality.Methods: This research adopts the methods of literature,expert interview method,questionnaire survey method,mathematical statistics method,teaching experiment,by applying Mosston reciprocal type teaching method in junior middle school basketball teaching as the research object,and random 2 grade class two students as experimental object,20 experimental classes boy 23 people,a girl USES Mosston reciprocal type teaching method,The control class consisted of 23 boys and 20 girls,who adopted the traditional teaching method and carried out a teaching experiment for 16 weeks.The basketball project is the main teaching content.After the experiment,the physical quality,basketball special skills,learning emotion and teaching effect evaluation of the students of the two classes are tested.Finally,the data obtained by Excel and SPPS26.0 are integrated and analyzed,and the results are as follows:(1)In terms of physical fitness,Mosston reciprocal teaching method and traditional teaching method are conducive to the improvement of the physical fitness of standing long jump and four-line return run on the basketball court for both boys and girls.There is no significant difference in the standing long jump scores between the two classes after the experiment,while there is a significant difference in four-line return run.The results show that Mosston reciprocal teaching method has no significant advantage in the improvement of students’ standing long jump performance,but has a significant advantage in the improvement of students’ physical quality in the four-line return run on the basketball court.(2)In terms of basketball specific skills,Mosston reciprocal teaching method and traditional teaching method are conducive to the improvement of one-minute point shooting and basketball "V" layup skills for both boys and girls.There are significant differences in the comparison of specific skills between the two classes after the experiment.It shows that Mosston reciprocal teaching method is more conducive to improving students’ basketball special skills than traditional teaching method.From the perspective of P value and mean value improvement,it shows that it has a particularly significant effect on improving girls’ "V" layup skills.(3)In terms of emotion in basketball learning,Mosston reciprocal teaching method is more conducive to improving students’ interest in learning basketball,learning attitude,participation motivation,cooperation ability and autonomous learning ability.There are significant differences in emotion in basketball learning between the two classes after the experiment.It shows that Mosston reciprocal teaching method is more conducive to improving students’ basketball learning emotion than traditional teaching method.From the improvement of mean value,Mosston reciprocal teaching method is more conducive to improving girls’ basketball learning emotion.(4)In terms of teaching effect evaluation,the teaching form,teaching organization method,reasonable degree of practice,classroom atmosphere,academic performance and teaching satisfaction of the experimental class are better than those of the control class.There are differences in the evaluation of after-class teaching effect between the two classes,indicating that Mosston reciprocal teaching method has better teaching effect than the traditional teaching method.Conclusion: In junior high school basketball teaching,Mosston reciprocal teaching method has a significant positive effect on the improvement of boys’ and girls’ physical quality,special skills,basketball learning emotion and teaching effect,especially on girls’ basketball "V" layup skills and basketball learning emotion.Therefore,Mosston reciprocal teaching method is feasible and worthy of promotion and application in junior high school basketball teaching.
