In recent years,tennis in my country has developed rapidly,and the level of competition has also been rapidly improved.Therefore,it has accelerated the development of popular tennis.As an important base for talent training,college tennis has naturally attracted people’s attention.Tennis option course,as one of the new sports courses offered by the public sports courses in colleges and universities to meet the growing sports needs of students,is deeply loved by college students.In an effective way,tennis education resources in colleges and universities should be relatively more sufficient.However,there are few schools that take tennis training as teaching content explanation and targeted training.The lack of popularity of tennis knowledge,venues suitable for students’ training and professional teachers in schools has largely restricted the development of tennis in schools.Tennis is a sport that is difficult to learn.It is difficult for students to master this technology in limited courses only through a semester of basic learning,It is also difficult to achieve the essential purpose of strengthening students’ physical health.Especially for female college students,although they have basically mastered the forehand and backhand strokes through the first semester of study,in the advanced stage of the second semester,how to better and more targeted improve the tennis level of female college students is a problem that needs in-depth research.Considering that female college students may have insufficient core and upper limb strength,which will affect their progress in tennis technology at the advanced stage,Therefore,in order to explore suitable teaching methods to improve classroom efficiency,this paper proposes to apply the elastic band training method to the teaching of tennis optional courses in colleges and universities,and combines the training plan of the advanced stage in the second semester to analyze the effect of elastic band training on colleges and universities.What are the substantive changes in the tennis special skills and physical health of female college students in tennis optional courses.In this paper,using literature method,questionnaire method,mathematical and statistical method and experimental method,two classes totaling 80 female college students were randomly selected for teaching from the class of 2020 public physical education tennis offering option class in Shandong Normal University,and all 80 students had completed the first semester of tennis option class.The control group used the traditional teaching method,while the experimental group introduced the elastic band training teaching method,taking the second semester advancement stage as the research background,taking physical quality and tennis specific skills as the research index.Through the teaching experiment,analyze whether the students have obvious changes in tennis specific technology and students’ physical health after the experiment,and analyze the students’ recognition of the teaching mode after the experiment through the questionnaire survey results.Research results:1.Tennis special skills test: There are obvious differences between the two groups in tennis special skills.The experimental group is better than the control group in the forehand and backhand bottom line hitting skills,the evaluation of forehand and backhand technical movements,and the average score of underhand serving,with significant differences(P<0.05),in terms of using tennis smart sensor to test tennis-specific indicators,the average score of forehand and backhand swing power and racket speed in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the average speed index(P>0.05).2.Physical fitness test: After 17 weeks of tennis lessons,upper body strength and core strength are the main quality indicators in this study,and the improvement is very obvious.There was a significant improvement of the experimental group students’ grip strength and sit-ups scores(P<0.05),and other physical qualities of the experimental group and the control group were improved,but there was no significant difference in each index(P>0.05).3.Evaluation of students’ classroom teaching: Through the comparison of the learning situation of tennis optional courses after the experiment,the students in the experimental group were more interested in tennis lessons and participated in tennis lessons than the control group(P<0.05).The students in the experimental group recognized tennis optional courses.The students’ self-assessment of tennis technical ability was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: The introduction of elastic band resistance training in tennis classes can improve the forehand and backhand skills,underhand serving skills,hitting power and swing speed of female college students in tennis option courses,and can also improve students’ basic physical fitness and learning enthusiasm.
