Education prospers the country,the development of basic education is the guarantee of the promotion of the foundation of the whole education,and teachers are the foundation and key to the good development of education.As a special assessment management system for teachers,teacher performance appraisal system is directly related to the development of teachers and schools,so how to optimize the teacher performance evaluation system has become an important issue of the times.With the implementation of policies related to teacher performance,the legitimate rights and interests of teachers have been guaranteed,and the enthusiasm and efficiency of teachers has been stimulated.However,due to the specificity and particularity of the implementation of the school,the teacher performance appraisal system also has some problems to a certain extent,which affects the development of teachers and schools.Therefore,combined with the actual school,through the investigation to understand the feedback of teachers to the relevant system and then find a more optimized teacher performance appraisal system,It is very important for schools to manage teachers more scientifically and efficiently,improve the quality of teachers,improve teaching quality and promote the effective development of schools.On the basis of literature,this thesis will take the in-service teachers of Q primary school as the object of investigation,and adopt the method of questionnaire and interview.Through the investigation and analysis of the main body,purpose,content,method and application of results in the teacher performance appraisal system,we can understand the current situation of the school teacher performance evaluation system.Although the Q primary school teachers’ performance appraisal system has promoted the progress of teachers’ teaching and school management to a certain extent,there are still some problems: teachers’ participation and satisfaction are not high;Appraisal neglects teacher professional development;The content of the program is limited to the motivation of teachers;The measure of evaluation is unscientific;The application of assessment results is not sufficient.The case study of Q Primary School attributes the problems to: the outmoded concept of performance management;The purpose of performance appraisal is one-sided;The design of assessment content index is unreasonable;Simplification of the measure of evaluation;Supervision feedback mechanism is not perfect.The performance appraisal system of daily school teachers is a project that needs to be built for a long time.According to the existing problems and attribution analysis,this thesis proposes to improve and perfect from many aspects at the same time: update the advanced management concept;Define the purpose of developmental assessment;Set up scientific assessment content indicators;Adopt diversified assessment methods;To a certain extent,it can provide reference ideas for school administrators and related researchers to improve and update the performance appraisal system.In order to promote the improvement of school teacher performance appraisal system,promote the benign development of teachers and schools.
