| Red culture contains quality educational resources and is a valuable material and spiritual cultural asset,as it is the advanced culture formed by our Party leading the Chinese people in revolution,construction and reform.Red culture played a spiritual role in rallying people and inspiring morale during the revolutionary war years,and also embodied the role of corroborating history,passing on civilisation and political edification during the reform and construction years.General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed that history is the best textbook and the history of the Chinese revolution is the best nutrient.In the new era of socialist construction,discovering the educational value of red culture,drawing on its spiritual connotations,and deeply grasping the excellent spiritual cores of revolutionary ideals,dedication,struggle consciousness and firm beliefs in red culture can effectively cultivate high school students’ political identity literacy and play a key role in establishing moral education in high school ideology and politics classes.On the basis of a comprehensive review of educational research results on the use of red culture to cultivate political identity literacy in high school ideology and politics classes,this study summarises the existing theoretical achievements and defines in detail the relevant theories on the use of red culture to cultivate political identity literacy in high school ideology and politics classes in relation to the subject characteristics and teaching practices of high school ideology and politics classes.It also insists on finding problems in practice,uses a combination of student questionnaires and teacher interviews to understand the real-life problems from the perspective of the educational subjects,summarises the current effectiveness of using red culture to cultivate political identity literacy,explores the problems that exist in the educational process,analyses the root causes of the problems from the perspectives of teachers and teaching,and then puts forward practical countermeasures and suggestions for using red culture to cultivate political identity literacy in high school ideology and politics classes.This paper is divided into four parts.The paper is divided into four main parts.Part Ⅰ:Introduction.It mainly explains the background,purpose and significance of the research on the use of red culture in high school ideology and politics classes to cultivate political identity literacy;explains the basic ideas and main methods of the research,and briefly introduces the innovative points of the article.Part Ⅱ:a theoretical investigation of red culture and political identity literacy.Firstly,the concepts of red culture and political identity literacy and their contents and characteristics are explained,then the necessity and feasibility of using red culture to cultivate political identity literacy in high school ideology and politics classes are discussed,laying a theoretical foundation for the in-depth study of the topic.Part Ⅲ:Research and Analysis of the Current Situation of Using Red Culture to Cultivate Political Identity Literacy in Senior Secondary Thought and Politics Classes.Combining the information collected through questionnaires and individual interviews,the current situation of using red culture to cultivate political identity literacy in high school politics classes is analysed,and the achievements that have been made are summarised.By summarising and analysing the survey data,the shortcomings of using red culture to cultivate political identity literacy among high school students are explored in depth,and the reasons behind them are analysed in the light of the actual situation so that targeted countermeasures can be put forward for improvement.Part Ⅳ:Strategies for cultivating political identity literacy through the use of red culture in high school ideology and politics classes.To address the reasons for using red culture to cultivate political identity literacy among high school students,countermeasures are proposed in terms of using red cultural resources to consolidate political cognition;creating a red cultural atmosphere to cultivate political emotions;creating red cultural situations to strengthen political attitudes;and enriching red cultural practices to regulate political behaviour. |
