A sense of responsibility is not only related to personal success and development,but also to the prosperity and strength of the whole country and nation.Primary school stage is the foundation stage of everyone’s life growth.At this stage,it is particularly important to cultivate pupils’ sense of responsibility.Based on this,this study takes the cultivation of primary school students’ sense of responsibility as the core content,situational teaching as the main action method,primary school morality and rule of law as the main practice place,and carries out action research on the cultivation of primary school students’ sense of responsibility in classroom teaching through the way of discipline moral education,with the purpose of using the new classroom teaching mode to improve the current situation of classroom teaching;Pay attention to students’ life,return to students’ reality,cultivate students’ sense of responsibility,and promote the realization and development of pupils’ responsible behavior.This study selected the fourth grade students of Linfen l primary school as the main survey object.Based on the traditional literature survey,the method of action research is adopted,supplemented by interview and text analysis.The action process of this study is divided into three stages;They are the preparation action stage,the implementation action stage and the reflection action stage.Among them,the implementation action stage is the main link of this study.It takes a whole semester to carry out two rounds of action.In the stage of preparing for action,the author enters the practice place and begins to follow the class and interview activities before action.During this period,the author fully understands the physical and mental development characteristics of fourth graders and the development of moral and rule of law courses in primary school.In the implementation action stage,the author deeply analyzes the responsibility elements in the fourth grade teaching materials.Through the operation procedure of creating situation-understanding situation-sublimating situation-returning to situation,the author carries out three theme teaching activities in each round of action to guide students to learn to pay attention to themselves,care for others,integrate into the collective,pay attention to the society and love the country.After two rounds of action research,the teaching effect of each activity is tested through the analysis of students’ interview content,the evaluation form of group cooperative learning,and the forms of teachers’ self-evaluation and teaching evaluation.Through the summary and reflection of this action research,it can be concluded that the cultivation of students’ sense of responsibility in the course of morality and rule of law in primary school is effective.At the level of "knowledge",students’ responsibility cognition has been strengthened: students have a clearer understanding of their own role,communication relationship and social role.At the level of "emotion",students’ sense of responsibility is stimulated: Students’ respect and love for themselves;The sense of identity and belonging to the family;The love for the collective and the awareness of environmental protection have been sublimated.At the level of "behavior",students’ responsibility behavior has been tempered to some extent: Students’ self-discipline behavior,caring behavior for family and collective and low-carbon behavior appear frequently.Practice has also proved that situational teaching is not only conducive to cultivating students’ sense of responsibility,but also conducive to the construction and development of morality and rule of law in primary school.Therefore,this paper puts forward relevant teaching suggestions for the cultivation of primary school students’ sense of responsibility: first,we should guide students to pay attention to themselves and stimulate the vitality of students’ independent development;Second,we should help students return to life and build a home school linkage mechanism;Third,we should focus on the collective and jointly create an atmosphere of responsibility;Fourth,we should be based on society and pay attention to responsibility,practice and incentive.In addition,we should also pay attention to the following three points about the application of situational teaching in the course of morality and rule of law in primary school: the creation of situation should reflect students’ subjectivity,conform to the principle of living,and mobilize students’ enthusiasm,in order to provide teaching implementation suggestions for front-line teachers.
