| Public physical education in universities is an important component of talent cultivation in higher education.Public physical education in universities includes classroom teaching,extracurricular sports activities,and sports competitions.With the continuous deepening of ecology in the field of education,some scholars have begun to examine physical education from the perspective of educational ecology theory,attempting to explore the organic overall relationship between people and sports,and to make up for the limitations of single physical education research from an interdisciplinary perspective,clarifying the current ecological status of the public physical education ecosystem in ordinary universities in Jiangxi Province.This study takes the concept of ecology as the starting point,adopts the theories and methods of educational ecology,regards public physical education in universities as an ecosystem,and explains the ecological subject,ecological characteristics,and ecological environment framework of public physical education in ordinary universities in Jiangxi Province.A systematic and comprehensive investigation and analysis were conducted on the ecological environment of subsystems such as classroom teaching,extracurricular sports activities,and sports competitions in the process of public physical education in universities,as well as the ecological functions of each subject,using survey methods such as questionnaire survey,interview,and observation,combined with the basic theories of educational ecology.Through investigation,it was found that:(1)There is a shortage of resource supply in the ecological subject of public physical education in universities in Jiangxi Province,with a single source of funding for sports facility construction,insufficient external environmental support for educational ecological resources,and changes in the composite ecological environment of the system ecological environment and student psychology.(2)The implementation process of public physical education curriculum teaching is imbalanced,which violates the "law of tolerance and the principle of optimality",leading to an imbalance in the ecological driving force of the public physical education system in universities and an overload of ecological carrying capacity.(3)The interaction between ecological subjects is not obvious,the enthusiasm of producers is suppressed,the internal drive of consumers is insufficient,decomposer are missing,the guarantors are not in place,and the ecological niche of ecological subjects is alienated.(4)The ecological environment is limited to the "flower pot effect",and the ecological knowledge structure of sports knowledge and sports skills is imbalanced,resulting in ecological imbalances such as deviation from the principles of the education ecological chain and incomplete feedback on teaching ecology.Based on the principles of educational ecology and by implementing the ecosystem concept,the following optimization paths are proposed to address the imbalance in the public physical education ecosystem of universities:(1)In terms of ecological subjects,we should increase investment in educational resources,improve ecological carrying capacity,implement the principle of optimum,optimize the operating structure of the ecosystem,divide the ecological niche,and give play to the mutual promotion of ecological subjects.(2)Breaking the "flower pot effect" in terms of ecological environment,integrating diverse physical education learning methods,combining the content and presentation of in class and extracurricular physical activities,and building an open ecological environment.(3)Pay attention to the comprehensive development of students,improve the teaching ecological evaluation system,combine sports activities or sports competitions,test the effectiveness of students’ sports learning,and provide timely feedback and evaluation of sports learning for students..(4)Provide diverse learning platforms,fully leverage the regulatory role of various social systems,and collaborate to create a good educational ecosystem.Smooth the ecological chain of public sports education in universities,and optimize the overall public sports ecosystem in universities. |
