| With the development of society,the educational goal of colleges and universities has shifted from cultivating professional talents to cultivating human integrity.The concept of whole person education was raised again in the 1970 s.As an ideological trend,the concept of whole person education aims at cultivating professional talents under the background of industrialization.Whole person education focuses on cultivating people’s innovation ability,questioning ability and communication ability.The academy system is the carrier of practicing the concept of whole person education,finding the rule and function about education,management and students’ development.Academy plays an important role about the study of the practical function in students’ overall development,which maximize the educational function of academies and the educational model of local colleges and universities.This paper mainly uses the methods of literature research,historical analysis and case study to focus on how to practice the concept of "whole person education" in local colleges and Universities Based on the academy system.Through consulting the literature,this paper combs out the connotation of whole person education,the current situation and type mode of Academy development in China,and the advantages and limitations of implementing the academy system in local colleges and universities.And according to the development status of Shiying Academy of Shanxi Normal University and Shantou University.In the literature on the development of the academy system,Carrying out the academy system education mode is mainly concentrated in the well-known colleges and universities in our country.Their development scale and operation system are relatively mature,and they have formed their own unique academy education mode.In recent years,with the implementation of the academy system,more and more local universities have joined the ranks of the academy system education mode.Academy system is an ideal carrier of the concept of holistic education,so it is very necessary to study the educational model of academy system in local colleges and universities.By selecting the actual cases of the development of academy system in local colleges and universities,this paper analyzes the feasibility of implementing academy system in local colleges and universities,and summarizes the path of academy education in local colleges and universities through actual cases: Clarify responsibilities and establish a stable management system;Build the comfort environment of Academy and play a crucial part in the invisible impact of dormitory education;Carry out a wide range of general education system to promote students’ free growth;Establish a perfect team of tutors to promote the exchange between teachers and students;Hold academy activities with rich types of practice,which is beneficial to the physical and mental development of students. |
