Both the Guidelines for Kindergarten Guidance(Trial)and the Guidelines for The Learning and Development of Children aged 3-6 put forward clear and specific provisions on the development of children’s language ability.Studies have proved that 0-6 years old is the best period to promote the development of children’s language ability,and 4-6 years old is the sensitive period for children’s reading ability development.Picture books,as a combination of pictures and texts,become a suitable tool to promote the development of children’s early reading ability.Kindergartens have carried out the teaching of picture books as an auxiliary tool for children’s reading.While some achievements have been made,problems have followed.In order to strengthen the scientific nature and kindergarten picture books reading teaching effectiveness,the author further practical teaching kindergarten,investigate "slow reading" in middle shift in children’s picture books teaching practical application situation,explore the picture books "slow reading" teaching present situation,discover problems and analysis the reason,put forward the corresponding improvement Suggestions,in order to better cultivate children’s reading habits,developing reading ability,It will provide help for kindergarten to carry out picture book teaching in the future.This paper adopts the method of literature,observation,interview and other methods to carry out the research,including six parts: The first part is the introduction,which mainly expounds the research origin,literature review,relevant theoretical basis,research design and other aspects.The second part mainly defines the concepts related to "slow reading" teaching of picture books,and expounds the characteristics,principles,implementation strategies and values.The third part analyzes the interview results of teachers to understand the status quo of "slow reading" teaching of picture books in kindergarten S.The fourth part finds the problems in the teaching of "slow reading" of picture books in kindergarten S from the current situation.The fifth part is the cause analysis of the existing problems.The sixth part puts forward corresponding countermeasures and improvement suggestions for the problems.
