As one of the teaching links of primary school mathematics curriculum,math homework is not only an important part of students’ learning activities,but also has an intrinsic relationship with school teaching quality,and directly affects families’ attention to school education.With the introduction of a series of policies such as "double reduction" and"five-item management",many primary and middle schools have carried out practical exploration of homework design and management,but in the process of implementation,there are still problems such as function alienation,low quality of homework design and students’ low interest in homework.Therefore,in order to give full play to the effect of homework education,help students internalize knowledge,externalize quality,and promote students’ all-round development,it is an unavoidable practical problem in primary school mathematics teaching.Therefore,in the current educational environment,it is of great practical significance to study the current situation of mathematics homework in the senior grade of primary school mathematics.Through questionnaire survey method,interview method and text analysis method,based on the cognition and attitude of math homework,the design of math homework,the implementation of math homework,the implementation effect of math homework four dimensions,the current Z primary school senior math homework design and implementation status of the in-depth investigation.The results show that some teachers and students lack deep cognition of homework function;The main body of homework design is single;Homework content fixed and lack of hierarchy;Homework type tradition;Homework evaluation system is not sound;The effect of homework implementation needs to be improved.It is found that the main causes of these problems are:being affected by the traditional view of operation;Lack of effective supervision in school management;Teachers generally lack the ability of homework design under the guidance of correct theory;Teachers work under great pressure;Senior students are prone to learning burnout and so on.Based on this,this study puts forward some relevant strategies to improve the quality of math homework design and implementation in senior primary schools:changing the concept of math teaching,building a new concept of homework;Pay attention to individual differences of students,design hierarchical assignments;Innovative homework types to stimulate students’ interest in learning;Perfect homework evaluation system to promote students’development;Optimize school homework management and reduce students’ academic burden.
