A Study On Chinese Homework Design For The Elementary School Higher Grades

"Language curriculum standards" proposed that teaching activities should not be limited to the classroom, it should also continue outside of class. Chinese homework is not only the consolidation and extension of the classroom, but also the sublimation of classroom teaching.and important means for student extracurricular learning. In the Upper primary stage, the status quo of Chinese students’ homework is not optimistic, the burden is sill heavy, there exists the problem of repetition and too many difficult problems, which in certain extent,affect the development of students’ physical and mental health. Therefore, how to reduce the burden of high-grade primary school student’ Chinese homework has become a focus also a big problem for the educators nowadays, and an important way to reduce the mental burden for the student.In this paper, we conducted an survey about the status quo of homework of the high grade primary school student in W elementary school, and discussed the problems in homework design, and proposed the basic idea to rationalize Chinese homework design.There are a lot of problems in the design of Chinese homework for high grade elementary school students, unreasonable content, biased form design, lack of evaluation and supervision.However, many reasons have caused this design problem. For example, unreasonable factors in school management, lack of right recognition of homework design for parents, missing of homework design skill of teachers. Therefore, the rational design of high-grade primary school language homework can be said to be one of the most complex work,it needs joint efforts of schools, teachers, and parents. Based on a clear recognition of primary Chinese homework design philosophy and objectives, take the content, form,evaluation, management and other aspects of the system into consideration to make high-grade primary school Chinese homework design more rational.
