| Ouyang Daina(1930-),a native of Nanhai County,Guangdong Province,is a contemporary Chinese educator who has long worked as a Chinese teacher on the front line,devoting her whole heart and soul to Chinese education and reform work,gradually forming her own ideological system of Chinese education thought and making outstanding contributions to the development of Chinese language education in China.In the wave of Chinese education reform set off after the reform and opening up,Ouyang Daina stood at the forefront of the reform,combined with the practical experience of Chinese teaching,and carried out the overall reform of Chinese teaching with dialectical materialism and historical materialism as the guiding ideology.There are both critiques of the shortcomings arising from Chinese education and teaching at that time,as well as highly characteristic Chinese education theories and academic construction,thus forming a relatively comprehensive system of Chinese education thought.Ouyang Daina’s thoughts of Chinese education mainly include three aspects:the view of Chinese curriculum,the view of Chinese teaching materials,and the view of Chinese teaching art.From the viewpoint of Chinese curriculum,it is proposed that the curriculum goal is to attach importance to the overall development of human beings and to cultivate students’ ability of self-learning and governance,and it is advocated that the curriculum should be implemented to build a comprehensive,practical and social Chinese curriculum,and it is reiterated that the evaluation of Chinese curriculum should be based on the guideline of improving the quality education of the whole nation.From the viewpoint of Chinese teaching materials,it advocates a correct understanding of the guiding ideology of Chinese teaching materials,the principles of arrangement,the system of competence training and knowledge transfer,and the hierarchical structure of writing;from the viewpoint of the art of Chinese teaching,it emphasizes the art of "beauty,ingenuity,and live reality"in Chinese teaching.In the view of the art of Chinese teaching,we emphasize the art of Chinese teaching of "beauty","ingenuity","live" and "reality".Ouyang Daina’s thoughts of Chinese education have important implications for the professional development of contemporary Chinese teachers,Chinese curriculum reform,Chinese textbook development and Chinese teaching,focusing on the following aspects:first,Chinese teachers should update their teaching ideas and concepts in subject teaching,grasp the combination of imparting knowledge and cultivating ability,recognize students’differences and respect their individuality;second,the language curriculum reform should pay full attention to the unity of the instrumental and humanistic aspects of the Chinese curriculum,and build modernized and nationalized Chinese curriculum resources;once again,Chinese teaching materials should be compiled flexibly,striving for exemplary Chinese and text,based on the textbook as a whole,and developing basic Chinese skills;finally,Chinese teaching needs to explore the value of the text,appreciate the beauty of the text,design procedures delicately,stimulate students’ interest,strengthen dialogue guidance Finally,Chinese teaching needs to explore the value of the text,understand the beauty of the text,design the procedure delicately,stimulate students’ interest,strengthen the guidance of dialogue,pay attention to flexible regulation,pay attention to students’ practice,and develop Chinese skills.Ouyang Daina’s thoughts of Chinese education have gone through the process from practice to theory to practice,and are highly practical and operable.Studying and absorbing the essence of Ouyang Daina’s thoughts of Chinese teaching is of great significance to the implementation of the educational concept of establishing moral education and promoting the development of quality Chinese education nowadays. |
