Research purposes: In recent years, college students’ physical fitness and sports ability have been declining, and their physical health is not good.Badminton is deeply loved by college students, which helps to strengthen students’ physique and is one of the important contents of physical education in colleges and universities. The research shows that compared with the traditional teaching method, the competition teaching method can significantly improve students’ physical quality and skills. In terms of physical fitness, most scholars choose the indicators in the National Physical Fitness and Health Test Standard for research, and there is little research on the indicators related to badminton’s special quality.Badminton belongs to the skill-oriented category, and good badminton special quality is an important guarantee for winning the game.In badminton technology, most scholars only study the forehand serve, backhand serve in front of the net, forehand hit, backhand hit, forehand pick, kill, drop, forehand and backhand set-up,diagonal backcourt hit and forehand pull, but lack the research on the forehand and backhand release, forehand and backhand push and forehand hit.In addition, the current research mostly uses the school syllabus or the contents and standards of the national junior badminton grade examination to evaluate badminton technical indicators, lacking a unified evaluation standard. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to explore the influence of competition teaching method on the special quality and technology of male badminton elective courses in colleges and universities..Research Methods:In this study,60 male students who met the experimental requirements were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. They were randomly divided into experimental group(30)and control group(30).The experimental group used the competition teaching method to teach badminton, and the control group used the traditional teaching method to teach badminton, once a week,90 minutes each time, for 10 weeks. The badminton special quality and technical indicators of the subjects were tested before and after the intervention.Badminton special quality indicators include four aspects : badminton in-situ throwing, repeated feet across,’ meter ’ round-trip running and 400-meter running. The technical indicators of badminton include four aspects :forehand head hitting straight high ball, forehand high ball, forehand and backhand net ball and forehand and backhand push ball.Independent sample t test was used to compare the differences between the experimental group and the control group, and paired sample t test was used to compare the differences between the experimental group and the control group.Research results:(1)Before the intervention, there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in badminton specific quality and technical indicators(P < 0.05).(2)After the intervention,in terms of badminton special qualities, the scores of badminton in-situ throwing(6.82 ± 0.66 m vs 7.61 ± 0.46 m,P < 0.05)and repeated crossing of both feet(23.80 ± 3.41 vs 26.13 ± 2.26 times,P < 0.05)in the experimental group were significantly higher than those before the intervention. The "meter" running back and forth(50.80 ± 2.37 seconds vs 59.33 ± 2.09 seconds,P < 0.05)and the 400-meter running(51.43 ± 0.81 seconds vs 52.83 ± 1.13 seconds,P < 0.05)were significantly lower than before the intervention. In the control group, the results of badminton in-situ throwing(6.93 ± 0.69 m vs 7.15 ± 0.62 m,P < 0.05)were significantly higher than before the intervention, and the 400-meter running(52.27 ± 0.90 s vs 51.83 ± 0.97 s,P < 0.05)was significantly lower than before the intervention.P > 0.05)and repeated crossing of feet(22.80 ± 2.18 times vs 24.07 ± 2.89 times,P > 0.05)were not significantly different from those before intervention. In badminton special techniques, the subjects in the experimental group hit the straight-line high ball(20.73 ± 3.47 points vs 37.53 ± 3.94 points,P < 0.05),served the high ball with the forehand(22.17 ± 3.44 points vs 33.40 ± 2.77 points,P < 0.05)and put the ball before the net with the forehand and backhand.P < 0.05),forehand and backhand pushing were significantly higher than those before intervention(22.40 ± 4.03 vs31.67 ± 6.42,P < 0.05),while the control group hit the straight high ball with forehand overhead(21.20 ± 2.88 vs 31.73 ± 7.31,P < 0.05)and forehand and backhand putting the net(18.40 ± 4.15 points vs 23.07 ± 4.43 points,P < 0.05)were significantly higher than before the intervention, while forehand and backhand putting the ball were not significantly different from before the intervention(23.00 ± 4.33 points vs 24.40 ± 1.99 points,P > 0.05).(3)After the intervention,in terms of badminton special quality, the test results of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group(7.61±0.46 m vs 7.15±0.62 m,P < 0.05),and the test time of the low center of gravity four-corner running was significantly lower than that of the control group(50.80 ± 2.37 seconds vs55.13 ± 3.48 seconds,P < 0.05).However,there was no significant difference between the control group and the control group in repeated foot crossing(26.13 ± 2.26 times vs25.80 ± 1.57 times,P > 0.05)and 400-meter running(51.83 ± 0.97 seconds vs 51.43 ± 0.81 seconds,P > 0.05).In badminton special techniques, the subjects in the experimental group hit the straight-line high ball with forehand overhead(37.53 ± 3.94 points vs 31.73 ± 7.31 points,P < 0.05),served the high ball with forehand(33.40 ± 2.77 points vs 29.93 ± 2.84 points,P < 0.05)and put the ball in front of the net with forehand and backhand.P < 0.05)and forehand and backhand pushingwere significantly higher than those in the control group(31.67 ± 6.42 vs 24.40 ± 1.99,P < 0.05).Research conclusion :(1)Compared with the traditional teaching method, the 10-week competition teaching method can significantly improve the strength quality and speed quality of male college students in badminton elective courses, but it can not significantly improve the agility and endurance quality of male students.(2)Compared with the traditional teaching method, the 10-week competition teaching method can significantly improve the badminton skills of male students in badminton elective courses in colleges and universities. |
