In the social environment of the 21 st century,education is to cultivate students’ ability to adapt to future life and society,which is to train future people.In school education,however,the teaching is mainly divided into subjects,and knowledge is divided into various subjects,making it decentralized.However,real-life problems appear as a whole,but problem solving requires more integrated knowledge output.Project-based Learning focuses on students’ inquiry activities led by driving questions,on the process and results of project activities,and the development of students’ core literacy.The Compulsory Education Curriculum Program(2022 Edition)promulgated in2022,it is clearly stated that Project-based Learning should be actively developed.Project-based Learning is gradually gaining attention in school education.Unit integral teaching is a teaching model derived from unit teaching,which breaks through the fragmented teaching to a certain extent.Unit integral teaching and Project-based Learning has little disciplinary practice,and the integration of unit integral teaching is an innovative attempt to help Project-based Learning enter the discipline.The two have similar theoretical foundations,complement each other in teaching applications,and are advantage for the cultivation of communication,cooperation,problem solving and other literacies.The study attempts to explore primary school Chinese Project-based Learning based on unit integral teaching to provide a new teaching paradigm for primary school teachers.The study is divided into five parts as follows.The first part is the overall introduction.This section describes the background of this thesis,the purpose of the study,the research methodology and the research ideas,and analyzes the current status of domestic and international research on the research content to making a literature review,and relevant concepts and theoretical foundations are defined.The second part is an overview of unit integral teaching and Project-based Learning.The second part analyze the outstanding features of unit integral teaching and the core elements and characteristics of Project-based Learning.The high degree of similarity between unit integral teaching and Project-based Learning and the complementarity of their applications also demonstrate the feasibility and advantages of integrating Project-based Learning into unit integral teaching.The third part is a survey on the current situation of the application of primary school Chinese Project-based Learning based on unit integral teaching.Through teacher questionnaires and teacher interviews,we understand the current status of the application of unit integral teaching and Project-based Learning,and analyze the findings.The fourth part is the implementation strategies of primary school Chinese Project-based Learning based on unit integral teaching.Combined with the available literature,this thesis proposes principles and strategies for implementing primary school Chinese Project-based Learning based on unit integral teaching.The fifth part is a specific application of primary school Chinese Project-based Learning based on unit integral teaching-taking unit 8 volume 1 of grade 5 as an example.
