The three strategic goals and development directions of China’s sports in recent years are "to be a strong sports country,to promote the high-quality development of national fitness,and to vigorously develop and promote the traditional ethnic sports culture".China is a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural world power,with a deep heritage of traditional ethnic culture.Traditional ethnic sports are not only the unique historical and cultural heritage of our country,but also the imprint of the life of our ethnic minority people for generations,and add a unique charm to our country’s sports career.With the national strategic guiding ideology of "national fitness","strong sports" and "healthy China","Opinions on the Implementation of the Project of Inheritance and Development of Excellent Chinese Traditional Culture and the newly revised Sports Law have identified the focus point for the development of China’s traditional ethnic sports,while emphasizing the need to further strengthen the work of youth and school sports,and to make the campus the main venue for passing on the excellent traditional ethnic sports culture.The development of traditional national sports is not only an inevitable requirement to enhance ethnic cultural confidence,but also an important guarantee for building a strong sports nation.Traditional ethnic sports in schools is the demand of the times,and we should unalterably follow the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics to carry forward and inherit traditional Chinese national culture and build a strong sports and cultural country.This study adopts the methods of literature,field survey,interview and logical analysis,etc.Firstly,we have a general understanding of the current situation and trend of the development of traditional ethnic culture in China;secondly,we have a preliminary survey and analysis of traditional ethnic sports in Qiandongnan;secondly,we have an in-depth investigation of the integration of traditional ethnic sports in campus in Qiandongnan with the preliminary survey data;finally,we analyze and summarize all the data and draw the following conclusions :(1)There are good examples of integrating traditional ethnic sports into campus in Qiandongnan,and good results have been achieved,but the scope of implementation is small,and the special traditional ethnic sports classes are often limited to a certain campus.(2)Qiandongnan has rich resources of traditional ethnic sports courses,but the deep-rooted "achievement first" mentality has led to the integration of few programs on campus.(3)As Qiandongnan is located in a remote southwestern region,it is difficult to retain local talents,unable to bring in foreign talents,and has insufficient financial support for sports equipment due to its lagging economic development.(4)The integration of traditional ethnic sports programs in local campuses is too polarized,with elementary school focusing on recreation and junior high and high schools focusing too much on competition,resulting in a low sense of participation among some students.The integration of ethnic traditional sports programs is more arbitrary,and there is a lack of systematic teaching materials,teaching methods and teaching evaluation.Based on the results of the study,the following strategies are proposed for the integration of traditional ethnic sports in schools in Qiandongnan.(1)Local authorities and schools in Qiandongnan should actively encourage the use of the "exemplary" effect to drive neighboring schools to further integrate ethnic traditional sports programs and promote the widespread integration and development of ethnic traditional sports classes in each region.(2)Strengthen the change of the concept of sports in each organization,and promote the "trinity" of campus,family and society to create a cultural environment for ethnic sports.At the same time,encourage physical education teachers to use scientific methods and boldly try to integrate a variety of traditional ethnic sports into school physical education.(3)Improve the strength of physical education teachers;firstly,increase the number of physical education teachers specializing in ethnic traditions.Secondly,improve the salary of physical education teachers and optimize the treatment and welfare of imported talents.Finally,provide more training opportunities for existing physical education teachers to improve their skills and broaden the promotion space for physical education teachers.(4)Strengthen the optimal construction of ethnic traditional sports classes,integrate and utilize local characteristic ethnic traditional sports resources under the premise of actively seeking support from relevant departments,develop a set of systematic teaching,training and competition methods as soon as possible,and at the same time scientifically compile characteristic teaching materials that match with ethnic traditional sports programs.
