Music appreciation activities are an important component of music education in ki ndergartens.They play a pivotal role in the cultivation of children’s artistic aesthetics,i magination,and creativity,as well as the improvement of their comprehensive musical l iteracy.At present,the value of kindergarten music appreciation activities has been recognized by most kindergartens and teachers.How to scientifically and effectively design and implement kindergarten music appreciation activities has attracted the attention of many preschool education personnel.In this study,researchers attempt to mobilize children’s multiple senses to participate in music appreciation activities based on the theory of "synesthesia",allowing children to increase knowledge,enhance abilities,and stimulate emotions through lively and interesting music experiences.This study focuses on the sophomore class of S Kindergarten in Harbin,Heilongjiang Province,using the paradigm of action research.Firstly,in the early stage,we conducted interviews and surveys with preschool teachers and observed actual teaching activities to understand the current situation of kindergarten music appreciation activities and teachers’ understanding of the theoretical knowledge of "synesthesia".Then,we diagnosed and analyzed the existing problems in the current situation,and then designed action research plans for the existing problems.A total of three rounds of action research were conducted,and each round of activity was followed by discussions,reflections,and improvements,providing sufficient theoretical and practical support for better applying the "synesthesia" theory to relevant research in music appreciation activities in large classes.Based on the process and results of this action study,the author draws the followin g conclusions: First,the application of the "synesthesia" theory is realistic and feasible;Secondly,the blank space created by the situation can promote the development of child ren’s imagination;Thirdly,multi sensory participation can enhance children’s sense of a ctivity experience;Fourth,the way of activities requires high professional quality of tea chers.Based on the above conclusions,this article puts forward relevant educational sug gestions for developing music appreciation activities under the "synesthesia" theory: firs t,select classic music to improve aesthetic value;Secondly,pay attention to music exper ience to promote the development of young children;Third,create appropriate situation s to help children perceive;Fourth,provide imaginative space and encourage bold expre ssion.
