As a key section connecting the cultivation of professional skills talents in colleges and universities,high school bears the important responsibility for the early cultivation of students’ dialectical thinking ability and other comprehensive qualities,and is also a key stage to help students develop correct thinking habits and establish correct values.Based on the requirements of The Times,the "Ideological and Political Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 edition,2020 revision)" clearly regards "improving the ability of dialectical thinking" as the training goal of the scientific spirit part of the core quality of the discipline,and points out the direction for the cultivation of students’ dialectical thinking ability in senior high school ideological and political courses;In accordance with the requirements of the curriculum standard,the teaching material of high school ideological and political course should set up the specific application method of dialectical thinking and the content of speculative training,so as to make it feasible to train students’ dialectical thinking ability in high school ideological and political course teaching.This study carried out empirical investigation and research on high school students in order to find out the problems existing in the cultivation of dialectical thinking ability of high school ideological and political disciplines,analyze the reasons,and put forward practical reference suggestions.The survey shows that the current high school ideological and political courses have achieved some results in the cultivation of students’ dialectical thinking ability,mainly reflected in the awareness level,students and teachers generally increase the importance of dialectical thinking,and the popularization and application of issue-based teaching in high school ideological and political classes has created a good training environment for students’dialectical thinking.However,due to the lack of teachers’ theoretical literacy related to dialectical thinking,the imperfect teaching evaluation mechanism,the insufficient exploration of dialectical thinking content in textbooks,and the insufficient use of afterschool resources,there are still the following problems in the cultivation of students’dialectical thinking ability in senior high schools:Students lack systematic understanding of dialectical thinking knowledge,ideological and political classes have poor effect on the training of dialectical thinking ability,and the combination of dialectical thinking theory training and practical ability is deficient.In view of this,it is necessary to define the concept of "dialectical thinking ability" that high school students need to master in combination with the characteristics of ideological and political disciplines,teaching objectives,textbook content and dialectical thinking ability of high school students,and summarize the dialectical thinking ability covered by the training of high school students into seven aspects:elaboration,analysis,dialectic,judgment,reasoning,evaluation and application.To improve the teaching effect with more targeted evaluation standards,cultivate students’ thinking habits with more optimized and systematic teaching methods,and enhance students’ learning experience with a stronger speculative atmosphere,in order to implement the training requirements of dialectical thinking ability in high school ideological and political courses,and promote the formation and development of students’ dialectical thinking ability.
