| In recent years,functional training has gradually become known as the hottest research topic in the field of sports in China.Functional training has achieved good results in preventing athletes from sports injuries,improving their competitive ability,and improving their specialized technical actions.With the continuous expansion of the influence of functional training in the field of competitive sports,it has gradually been favored by many professional training teams in colleges and universities,and has achieved good training results.In the daily sprint training process in colleges and universities,the scientific and reasonable training methods adopted by coaches can directly affect the effectiveness of sprint training.Therefore,in the process of sprint training,continuous innovation in training methods and means is the key factor for the scientific and systematic development of training.In this regard,functional training provides many new ideas for reference.Therefore,the author hopes to explore a new training model that integrates functional training into college sprint training,so that the majority of sports workers have a deeper and more intuitive understanding of functional training,and combined with sprint training practice,explore how to reasonably use functional training methods in college sprint training to improve athlete training effectiveness.This study mainly uses the methods of literature,experiment,mathematical statistics,comparative analysis,and other methods to explore the application of functional training in college sprint training with 16 sprinters from Harbin Institute of Physical Education as experimental subjects.Before the start of the experiment,athletes were randomly divided into groups and each athlete was tested for body shape,functional motion screening tests,and sprint specific fitness tests.The results showed that there was no significant difference in each index between the two groups of athletes.After a 12 week comparative experiment,the changes in functional action screening scores and sprint specific quality test scores of the two groups of athletes before and after the experiment were analyzed.The following research results were obtained:(1)After 12 weeks of training,the physical functional test scores of the experimental group athletes were significantly higher than those of the control group athletes.After testing,there was a significant difference in the performance of the experimental group before and after the experiment in six items,such as top squat,hurdle step,straight lunge squat,active straight knee and leg lift,rotational stability,and total score(P<0.05);In the control group,there was only a significant difference in the performance of the two items of rotation stability and total score before and after the experiment(P<0.05).(2)After 12 weeks of training,the sprint specific quality scores of the two groups of athletes have improved,but through T-test analysis,it was found that after regular training,the control group only showed significant differences in the results of100 meters and deep squat before and after the experiment(P<0.05);The results of the experimental group athletes in the four events of 100 meters,deep squat,standing long jump,and back shot put showed significant differences before and after the experiment(P<0.05).And there is a significant difference in the performance of the two groups of athletes in the squat test after the experiment.(3)Through data analysis,it was found that after 12 weeks of functional training,functional training significantly improved athletes’ strength,body coordination and stability,joint flexibility,and body balance compared to traditional training.However,in terms of sprint specific speed ability,there is no significant difference in the improvement effect of the two groups of training.Research conclusions:(1)Functional training can improve the weak links of athletes’ bodies and reduce the probability of sports injuries.Therefore,special training should be carried out to address the shortcomings of the athlete’s body in order to improve the sprinter’s special athletic ability and prolong their sports life.(2)The sprint specific quality scores of the two groups of athletes have improved to a certain extent compared to before the experiment,but overall,functional training has a better improvement effect.Therefore,functional training features should be fully utilized in training,and functional training should be integrated into college sprint training to improve the training effectiveness of college sprinters and reduce sports injuries.(3)Although functional training plays a certain role in improving sprint specific qualities,the role of functional training in sprint training cannot be overemphasized,and the value of traditional training cannot be denied.During training,it is necessary to deeply understand the different modes of the two types of training and make full use of the training characteristics of the two types of training to efficiently achieve training objectives. |
