Practical Research On Improving The Interpersonal Communication Skills Of "empty Nest Youth" Through Group Social Wor

The gap in urban development is becoming increasingly prominent in today’s society.Many young people choose to leave small cities and come to work and live in first tier or new first tier cities after graduation.However,when establishing social networks in new cities,these types of young people often encounter interpersonal communication problems.Therefore,when facing the problem of interpersonal communication among "empty nest youth",social work intervention is needed.The research content of this article is carried out in C city,which is currently a new first tier city in China.The study conducted a questionnaire survey and observation on some representative "empty nest youth",and found that the "empty nest youth" group exhibited varying degrees of deviation in social behavior,mentality,and culture.Therefore,this article uses the theory of psychological and social balance to analyze the interpersonal communication problems exhibited by the research subjects in three aspects.After applying the theory of psychological and social balance for research and analysis,this article conducted six group social work sessions using social learning theory to intervene in the behavior,mentality,and culture of "empty nest youth" with interpersonal communication problems,enabling them to acquire correct and effective social behaviors,improve social mentality,and integrate social culture.Based on the interpersonal communication needs of group members,develop a group work plan,and measure the group members with a scale before and after the start of the group work.Select some group members for interview and investigation,and finally combine the social status of the group members after the practice and whether the scale measurement results have achieved the expected goals of the group.Research has shown that by intervening in interpersonal communication issues among "empty nest youth" through group social work,the interpersonal communication abilities of group members can be improved to a certain extent.
